This is what Caterpillar says is a perfectly screed

I feel this falls more on the dealer for not checking this stuff from the start. It sounds like the dealer took a stand, and maybe didn't give all the facts to Cat from the start. At the end of the day I feel the dealer was wrong, and wonder if they even communicated the correct message from...

This is what Caterpillar says is a perfectly screed

At this point I would call 411 and go right to Customer Service for Cat in Perior Ill and skip the dealer. If you talk to enough people at Cat you will get to the right one.

    1995 CAT 928F loader

Don't bother with the Amsoil, just use a high quality oil in the machine, and sample and change filters as needed. Believe it or now Cat Oils do cost more, but have many advnatages over some.

CAT getting nasty with workers in Canada

How is Milton Cat the same as Cat? They are just a dealer. The Buffalo site may have been no good for Milton, but good enough for Anderson. I heard they closed two old small crappy locations and built one new fancy one in the Middle. The location of the site doesn't solve union issues when you...

    Cat 980 K

Cat Tier 4 uses emissions technology like on the 07 on highway truck engines. These engines are different than the engines being used in the CT 660. The tier 4 stuff has ard heads that burn off exhaust gasses thats how they are meeting emissions.

    Trojan 1500z

The thing with Trojan is they went out of business and parts support with be tough. If you have parts books for the loader that will make life a lot easier. The engine parts you should be able to get from Atlantic Engine in Windham if you have an engine serial number. Milton Cat can get parts...

    Advice for new Sewer/Water loader

950 H with sewer and water package comes with additional counter weight, standard coupler forks and bucket. There may also be some additional HP and a few other goodies.

    Advice for new Sewer/Water loader

Cat also offers a 950H with a sewer water configuration. I would look hard at that loader over a standard 950H

    Caterpillar Inc Troubles

Who were you talking to at your Cat dealer? Sounds like maybe your dealer is at fault for not pushing Caterpillar. The wait time is wrong however, the dealer should have done more to try to Help.

    3406b caterpillar starter

There are a few different sizes, could be a 37, 38, 40, or 42 mt delco remy starter. Without reading the tag on the starter, or a western start parts book your kinda screwed. If you can get a number off the starter, I bet there is one at napa.

    3406b caterpillar starter

The starter would have been put on by wester star. 99.9% of all cat truck engines were shipped with out a starter
