    ECM Repair Shops

I'm pretty sure that was from me prying it open, the grey silicone was their doing and excessive in my opinion. I had a hell of a time getting it opened up to look inside.

    ECM Repair Shops

Its been a while but I'm back to update. Truckecm verified that the ecm had no communication. They said they suspected it was the memory chip, but they didn't have any to replace it, and there was no guarentee that there weren't other issues with it. I ended up going with a tested good used...

    ECM Repair Shops

I just sent the ECM off to truckecm.com in Dallas. I'll report back with how they do. I was really tempted to open up the ecm and have a look inside myself, but in the end I decided I don't trust myself enough to not break something. I suspect that this ecm has a power delivery issue because...

    ECM Repair Shops

Has anyone had an ECM repaired? A quick google search shows at least a few places that can repair an ECM so I'm trying to decide if that would be a better option than ordering one from cummins. ECM is off of a 2005 ISM. Thanks.

    7410 PTO Not Working

I'm just guessing but I think you'll find the mice chewed through the wires that go from the control module to the pto solenoid. The pto light starts to flash because the computer isn't sensing any speed from the pto shaft then it will stop sending power to the solenoid. It could be a bad pto...

    Small Tractors? Massey Ferguson 230?

Napa 1653 or AGCO 1052262M91 should be the correct filter for the power steering. Here is the measurements on the Napa filter www.nfhconnect.com/Lookup/PartDetail?Part=128646&Brand=NAP&hb=688 It may have been mentioned in a previous post but you can look up the parts diagrams on agco's website...

    ‘03 Freightliner Columbia info

Good to know, I found it a couple months ago but only have two freightliners in my fleet so I haven't really been on it much.

    ‘03 Freightliner Columbia info

Freightliner does have an online parts lookup, you need to register for an account but its free. I've found the site isn't the easiest to navigate though. This is the link to the registration page...

    7.3 Injector Cup R&I Tool?

I've used the hammer in style and the last time I did injector cups in a 7.3 I rented the tool from Riffraff. I defiantly liked the Riffraff tool better and if I was doing it on a regular basis I would buy it for myself. The main thing I like about it is it makes the ones in the back much easier.

Hard starting 328D John Deere skid steer

It's been a couple months so I'm not sure if you've figured this out yet or not but here's my thoughts. If I'm reading this correctly you swapped the connectors between the camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor, so you plugged the crank sensor wire into the cam sensor and...

    ISL Turbo

The smaller Deere engines that use the filter just vent to the ground. The larger Deere engines use the same type of baffle system you mention for the ISX, I can't remember if it vents to ground or back to the intake but I'm pretty sure it vented to ground.

Possible problems with Glenn Mfg.'s MUTT Trailer.

From what I've seen of the Glenn Mfg. Mutt trailers they are top quality trailers. I used to live in the same area where they are made and knew a few people that had them. I never heard anything bad about them other than the cost to buy it. Its been years since I've looked at the undercarriage...

    Gear oil dispenser

This is what I use for gear oil. Its defiantly better than a bucket pump, they are pretty tough too. I actually found one the other day on the side of the road, a little scuffed up but still half full of oil. http://www.oilsafesystem.com/oss-oil-safe/oss-Oil-Safe-Drums-and-Lids

Ford vs. a Dodge...... (Gooseneck Tow Vehicle)

I haven't seen this mentioned yet here so I just want to point out that in the 450/550 truck Ford does not have an exhaust brake from the factory like the Ram 4500/5500. At work we have a 2015 F450 that is constantly hooked to a 25+5 trailer with anywhere between 4-8 tons on it, it has about...
