Hey all. Been a while sense I've posted here. Want to thank you all in advance as their is a lot of smarts floating around here and I appreciate the help. The machine runs great. The guy we got it from was using it when all of a sudden he smelt smoke. I believe I have a "dead short" somewhere by...

    Case 1840 Loader hydraulics

Check case drains filters. Usually when you loose hyd power is its either running across a relief or you have some warn pumps/motors. If you unhook your leakage lines off your drive motors and run it to observe how much leakage(Warn parts) there is. You shouldnt have much leakage at all with...

Bobcat T300 Hyd lock wont release.

Thanks for all the help guys. I am on hold till the customer tells me what to do. I may try to flush the system with some inline filters in the lines running to the drive motors and see if I cant flush it. Ideas for flushing bobcat hydraulic fluid

I'm not sure about the s175, but Most of the machines I've worked on have a drain hose located under the hyd reservoir, similar to the engine oil drain hose with plug. There should be a window you can take out inbetween the wheels to get access to the drain. Remember, 90% of contamination is...

Bobcat T300 Hyd lock wont release.

I got 3 rags full from that case drain filter. I believe that it clogged, creating a pressure differential, compressing the brass bb's together causing resistance to go up which is why the end of that brass filter is blown out. I have no clue now how bad the damage is. I think sense how much...

Bobcat T300 Hyd lock wont release.

crewchief888, Thanks so much for the reply. I new this was the forum for clear precise, easy to follow information. :) There is a T in the charge line, before the brake valve, that has a brass "male" quick couple sticking straight up. I tapped into that with my gauge and at idle it reads...

Bobcat T300 Hyd lock wont release.

K, proper voltage to solenoid. Now throws a "extreme low charge pressure" and will kill. I think either the positive filter is plugged or the screen on the charge pump may be clogged. going to check case drain for debris and also run with case drain lines apart to see how much leakage i have on...

Bobcat T300 Hyd lock wont release.

I think I've figured it out.. Hyd brake valve by the throttle linkage under the seat. They have it tucked up under there tight. So solenoid has full battery power (12v). Next is seeing if the spool is being shifted by the solenoid.
