JD 310SG cold oil range sight "tube"

Also of note, that is checked with the backhoe on a level surface, with the boom and stabilizers in transport position, front bucket lowered to the ground.

    Cat 950 loader manuals

I ended up with an old 1968 or 1969 era Cat 950 Wheel Loader. Anyone have any or know where to download manuals for this machine? Wouldn't mind an Operators manual and Repair manual. Thanks!

    JD310G - Drooping dipperstick

Thanks for the tip Gregs. I will definitely give that a try to narrow it down so as to not do unnecessary work. Appreciate the tip.

    JD310G - Drooping dipperstick

It's definitely drifting down more than that. Not saying it's expensive or difficult, just wanted to know if there was some other common issue that might cause it or something. Just need to get the kit and spend the time to repack the cylinder. Thanks for everyone's insight.

    JD310G - Drooping dipperstick

I have not, but know it's way beyond normal. As soon as you let off the stick, it starts creeping down right away. Pops down in little increments.

    JD310G - Drooping dipperstick

I was hoping someone would have some idea that didn't include rebuilding the cylinder. :-\ Thanks for the input.

    JD310G - Drooping dipperstick

I've got a 2001 or 2002 JD 310G that we recently purchased. If you've got the boom extended, the dipperstick will slowly droop down after a couple minutes. There are no obvious seal or hose leaks. Any advice on what could be the issue causing the hydraulics on the dipperstick to slowly drop...

    Champion grader parts

Be careful though, they will charge pretty outrageous shipping charges to the US. I'd do some google searching on the part #'s on the side of the master cylinder, I'll bet you can find a complete master cylinder. I was able to find one in the US for our D562 last year for a very reasonable price.

JD 500C stabilizer cylinder rebuild kits

I think I have it figured out, and have ordered some rebuild kits. I guess I'll find out soon enough if they are the right ones. Thanks.

JD 500C stabilizer cylinder rebuild kits

I have an old John Deere 500cd backhoe. Trying to figure out which are the right rebuild kits for the stabilizer cylinders. The John Deere parts catalog online lists a rebuild kit for serial No -218290. I find two serial number tags on my machine. The one on the frame to the left of the...

JD 500C - Outrigger leaks down

Thanks for the tips. Haven't done much work with hydraulics, so am learning. Will try your tips and see what we can find. Thanks again

JD 500C - Outrigger leaks down

The backhoe had been sitting outside for years, and the hose was all weather checked, and it got crimped. It was fine, right up until we changed the hose, so I do think there is any bad seals or anything. We took the old hose off, put the new one on, and now it leaks down.

JD 500C - Outrigger leaks down

This is with the machine off. Before the hose was replaced, it would take a couple of days to leak down. Now, it takes a few minutes. The only thing that was changed was the hose, nothing else. So, must still have some air in it or something even though we've cycled it a few times.

JD 500C - Outrigger leaks down

What's the best way to try and bleed the air out?

JD 500C - Outrigger leaks down

Have an old JD 500c Backhoe. Replaced one of the lines that had split on one of the outriggers, and now it will drop completely to the ground after a few minutes, which it did not do before. We've run it up and down a few times, hoping if there was some air in the system or something, but...

1990 Ford L9000 front leaf spring source

One of the downsides to living in Montana, is that things like that aren't always available. I think I might have found one though. 90 miles away, but that's doable. Thanks for the input

1990 Ford L9000 front leaf spring source

I've got a 1990 Ford L9000 with a couple of broken springs in the passengers side front leaf. It's the heavy duty 9 leaf pack. Anyone have a source for springs for this, as I would really like to get it replaced before it breaks all the way. Thanks!
