    Axe Men beyond belief

Was thinking that if OSHA was awake and functioning (and watching the show), they would be very interested in a number of things I have seen. I was thinking that if I could see the Bronco in the shot of the tree needing to be felled, that Gabe should have been able to see it also and just maybe...

Here is my MS880 Magnum - right after it was modded just a bit. The operator is the mechanic who did the work. http://youtu.be/kS1uD7L7d7U Hal

    Stihl Chain Saw

Biggger is better - I agree with that. But at the end of the day running a 260/026 is less hard on the body. For a lot of uses it might be the better saw. I buy into a plan for two (or more) saws. A 60cc saw and an 80 or 90cc ( or 122cc) saw. But I really get tired out running one of the big...

    Stihl Chain Saw

It would depend on how large of trees you will be working with most of the time. The 026, with a 18 or 20 inch bar would handle most everything below 3 foot in diameter. You will like the 026. A good saw to run. Hal

Great looking 1130G! Have one in Texas - a project, but only a small fix to get it up and running. I may not be looking in the right place. This is the site I am looking at: http://www.acresinternet.com/cscc.nsf/673d78ec01557aea88256b00005457e6/d8d083a8d741e3db88256c9b00780d89?OpenDocument...

Might try looking at the link. It is a can that mix can be put in, then pressurized with air. When sprayed, it puts out a spray of fuel and air under pressure. Worked well at starting my rather stubborn MS880. Hal

http://www.techno-industrial.com/sureshot/sureshot.html You might find the SURESHOT a good option for helping start stubborn saws. Saw one work at a get together in Northern Oklahoma in March. Bought one for myself soon after. Hal

    Stihl Chain Saw

Starting to hear that the new STIHL saws are less powerful than their predecessors. Here in the US, our EPA is having a very big effect on small 2 stroke engines - and of course that effects saws a lot. Keeping an older saw running and rebuilding it as required may be the way to go. Hal

    Trench collapse in Pa

I am guessing he was your soldier. There might be just the smallest reflection on the training he received from you. I also was a Tanker in the Army, from 1972 to 1996. I tought AIT at Ft Knox for two years and saw the level of training and reinforcement they needed to begin to understand...
