    I did try turning the frequency down to 58.5, it was working good . Once load was dropped it went down on overspeed frequency. Not sure if fuel rack is sticky, or some other adjustment might fix it. Simon C

    It was adjusted to 61 frequency before loading. Ran at around 59.8 or so with load. The problem is when I pull the load off. Will run fine with load for an hour or more. It is mechanical fuel pump with individual pump units. Any advice. Simon C

    Nice video. I did the same process on a 47 year old Komatsu D155 Engine. It was set to 38 Degrees before TDC and ran well. It took a few tries to get it right. I have the same Wilbar timing wheel as on the video. Simon C

    That washer is most likely coming from gear train as a thrust washer as was previously said. or could be from an accessory drive off the gear train. I have done too many D155 Engines and they have several in the gear train. Only logical place to find in my opinion. Simon C

    Those 2 ground cables were nasty looking, and would eventually cause grief. These are the simple fixes we all need to do on a regular basis. Always look for small computer case ground cables, equally important. Glad you got it fixed for now. Simon C

    My schematics for SR 250 show Fuse 11 Unswitched power feeding the instrument cluster with positive power. Is your serial number NCM442643 and up. Check that fuse, if there is no power at all on display. Maybe the fuse is loose in the female receiving pin. I just fixed one couple months back...

    Heavy crankcase blowbye is generally caused by problems with rings in cylinders, can also be caused by a faulty air compressor running off of the engine if it has one, or from a turbo dumping boost air into the oil return line in the pan. That is all that I can think of. Simon C
