Trencher on a CTL in wet material?

Hope you fixed it by now but my 2 cents. I have a t320 bobcat and a 313 bobcat trencher attachment with the added 1 foot extension, set 9 inch wide with rock teeth It will trench about 100 feet an hour in soil, roots and small rocks. The trencher chain can be set up for different conditions...

4 in 1 for my new to me T650?

Have a light duty 4 in 1 60 inch on a 1845. It was cheap but I can bend it with a bad thought. On the t320 I have an 80 inch ish cat brand 4 in 1 I do allot of dumb things haven't bent it yet.

    case 1845 diesel motor

Have an 1845 1975 era, 5000 hours beaten regular by the previous owner. If the battery is up it will start like better than any other diesel I have ever had. We had another case with that engine it was just quick to start. Neither smoke a great deal.

    4in1 on any bobcat?

My case 1845 didn't have aux controls when I got it. It wasn't too hard or costly but that machine is about as simple as can be. I think it would be easier to buy a machine already set up with aux. a 4 in 1 bucket is quite handy

Need Advice! Is a track steer a good option for my needs?

What about a 40-50hp tractor with bucket on front and a 3pt on the rear. I think most can be ordered with a skid steer quick connect on the front so most skid steer buckets and hydraulic grapples fit. A three point is the back allows for a much cheaper brush hog, a brush hog for the ctl or...

Help me decide on a used ~12,000 lb machine

Have a 304ccr at the shop my only complaint is it is a bit small at around 10,000 lbs. A hydraulic thumb is worth having, ours is set up with quick disconnects to attach an auger using the thumb circuit to drive the auger. Cat buckets on this family of machines can go on either way making the...

    Are broken hour gauges normal?

I think my 1975 case 1845 hour meter is in the 5000 range and still works although the machine has had a hard life I think it was rolled and beaten and used to train attack dozers before I got it. The one in the cat has been stuck on 889 hours for as long as I have had it, dads old JD I don't...

    Cat 414e skip loaders/landscape loaders...really that bad?

Grading with a skip loader (not to be confused with a skid loader) is pretty easy. I Have a cat 416d ll (landscape loader) I use it regularly for driveway maintenance and putting in building pads. I have a 4 in 1 on the front and a Gannon box on the back. Having hydraulic tilt and top link and...

Got a new 9" auger today, how much do you charge for drilling post holes?

On my 1975 case 1845 uniloader with a Lowe head and an 9 inch auger in sandy clay, at 8 foot spacing 30 inch deep, I avg 3.5 mins a hole from start to ready to dig next hole When I did my horse pasture fence about 140 holes. I do allot of board fences and get about the same time digging holes...
