Deere 244j wheel loader 4th function hydraulic oil leak

Hey everyone. My Deere 244j has an oil leak at the 4th function hydraulic coupler swivel joint. I want to replace the o-ring but can't find any specs as to the size. Called my dealership and they didn't know either. Deere wants $80 Canadian for a replacement but if I can fix it without buying...

    2011 john deere 244j fault code "e601d"

I usually plow between 7 and 9 hours per snowfall, and since the start of Dec. I've been out about 25 times. Filters had 350 hrs since they were changed. I know my fuel supplier just filled the bulk tank recently and wonder if I got some bad fuel . Today I changed out the filter and no more...

    2011 john deere 244j fault code "e601d"

Hanover Ontario Canada. Was out plowing again last night and for the first time this week the code didn't pop up. Not that I'm complaining but the sooner I figure it out the better. If I do you will be the first to know.

    2011 john deere 244j fault code "e601d"

Mine is a 2012 with 3400 hours. Unfortunately I don't have the option of storing it indoors as much as I would prefer to. I replaced the air filters about a month ago and the code dissapeared. Recently we've been plowing almost everyday and the code pops up within 10 minutes of startup. Going to...

    2011 john deere 244j fault code "e601d"

I'm having the same issue right now. Talked with a deere tech and he said because it sits outside in the winter and I do plow snow it is likely freezing up the air filters and restricting air flow. Hope this helps.

Cat 416 E ride control not working

Question for you Nige, at the time the accumulator pressure was tested I relieved the pressure by moving the levers but not with the key in the on position. Will this give an inaccurate "system" pressure or will it be the same. If it doesn't change the values, any guess where to look next?

Cat 416 E ride control not working

How do I recharge the system if its already reading 280 psi where it is supposed to be at? Is there a procedure to follow while testing/filling the nitrogen, when it was tested it was while the backhoe was turned off and loader on ground.

Cat 416 E ride control not working

I have a 2006 416E Cat backhoe with serial # arrangement SHA and I am having trouble figuring out what is wrong with the ride control. It has stopped working almost totally, (it still moves up and down about a 1/2 inch). I have checked all fuses, tested the resistance across the solenoids, ( 8...

Ride control problems on Cat 416E

So a bit of time between threads but I checked the nitrogen and its still charged at just over 280 psi, still the same symptoms, moves slightly but seems when you hit a larger bump in the road the loader rises but doesn't seem to settle quick enough to smooth the ride. What next? Pressure...

Ride control problems on Cat 416E

I have a buddy who is an agricultural equip. tech. and he though he might be able to charge it. Any idea on what psi it is charged to and if the fittings are universal. Or would I be looking at a seal kit as well?

Ride control problems on Cat 416E

I have a 2006 Cat 416E Backhoe,4x4 with ride control but it isn't working properly. It has the two position rocker switch (on/off). When on the ride control works slightly to a point where the loader will cushion small movements by about a 1/2" but when you hit a bump you definately notice its...
