Lets see your "ultimate" service truck!

This is the way I want to go. I'm looking at mid 90's T800's w/N14. Was it worth it to go new over finding a used box?

    Caterpillar Think Big program

I did this about 14 years ago. It worked out real well, but after I graduated and went to work and things got slow at the dealership, mine were some of the first nuts to get cut. It worked out in the end because I got the schooling and experience and they basically paid for it. They offered...

Komatsu PC200LC-6 Hydraulic Oil Cooler Problem

I've worked at a Komatsu dealer for about 10years now and haven't heard of a problem with those coolers leaking or blowing out, only that they're not big enough to handle the flow of a high flow attachment and tend to overheat. Komatsu is very good at fixing their problems and won't sell a bad...

The inspection plate for that one should be under the boom just like the other PC's. It's a smaller egg or oval shaped plate with two bolts in it. The two grease points on the outside only lube the rotek and not the pinion.

    Broke down service truck...

I work for a dealer and most of the field techs drive fairly new Freightliners M2's, all but one or two with less than about 120k. Until just a few months ago, mine was still under warranty and it got sent to the stealer for work. Unless it's something that can't be done in a day or two, I'll...

    Pc228 no hydraulics please help!

How is the electric throttle bypassed? Pull cable? If so, I bet it's a dog, there's no way for the engine to respond to pump load and it will bogg down.

    Pc228 no hydraulics please help!

The PC228 is a closed loop system and doesn't have an unload valve. Go back to the basics and start from the beginning: are the pumps turning? Crack a line on the pump while its running and see if oil comes out. Once you're sure the pumps are turning, check the pilot pressure. The self...

wa-480 komatsu transmission cut off problem

DHT1KX is a code for the left brake pressure sensor open circuit. If the sensor, wiring and controller are good then there shouldn't be a problem. It sounds like someone missed something.
