    Komatsu -5 motor graders

And I have just the opposite story - a customer of mine had 3 that they ran on a regular road maintenance contract. They traded them in at 30000hrs plus, and all they ever had to do on them was maintenance items. I'm sure that grading municipal roads and mining roads are as different as can be...

    Mud Mats

Slight derail but this is one of the ways it is done up here in the Great White North. http://www.swampmats.ca/ :canada Far too expensive for Joe Six Pack - only Big Oil can afford to make a wooden/bamboo highway 30 miles long.

    Bucket Questions

Around here most of the contractors I deal with use what is called a "chuck blade" for moving clay. Mostly used on 200 - 400 class machines.

    Weird Grader Applications

It does look as though it would have to go to an accumulator. There is only 1 cylinder on the side so my guess is that it is just for allowing some movement over curbs and manhole covers etc... Then again what do I know? I've never even sat my butt in a grader. :D

    Weird Grader Applications

    Weird Grader Applications

If they were indeed made in western Canada I may be able to source one for you. I found the original makers of this unit, FMG International out of Chile(they have snow?? :beatsme ). I have put out some inquiries to see if anyone has these new or used. I found better pictures :

    CAT 930G Troubles

As long as you are not driving the machine around a 5 gallon bucket that is half full of diesel would work to see if the tank indeed has crud in it. You will need to find a length of hose and connect it to the fuel line somehow. Also, you could be sucking in air from a cracked line...

    CAT 930G Troubles

Based on the earlier posts my WAG is the faulty fuel cap combined with something in the tank is the culprit. Do you have a parts book for this unit? Look to see if there is an access port on the tank to see if you can open her up and have a look / cleaning. If not, try running the machine...

    Need information about teeth

Grab your local yellow pages and look up the big 3 equipment dealers(Cat/Komatsu/John Deere) and ask to be directed to their purchasing agent for Ground Engaging Tools. Everyone is looking for a deal right now - both buyers and sellers. Common part numbers we sell here are : K25WT, K30WT...

Some Pics from the Alberta Oil patch

I live ~6 hours west of HoJay but those pictures could have been taken in my backyard - and yes that is the typical size for equipment doing roads and leases. In the dealership I work at, we sell PC270's and D85 / D155's and HM300's like hotcakes. i suspect the reason for this is ease of...

    NEW MOXY MT51 articulated truck

One of my customers has 2 MT36's. Oil leaking garage queens. The Scania engines sound nice, but try and find parts for them in Canada. :Banghead I'd be happy to never see one again.
