    Strum, Did you read what Nine posted? I ,Have a CAT 908M same controls, on the "soft touch keypad", upper right , 1 led lit, slow hydraulic response etc. if you press the button and all three led are lit, that's the fastest response etc. not sure if you have tried that yet .

    We have a small CAT 908M, bought used 3 years ago. We use only for snow removal , sits in the shop etc,waxed 4 times per years, washed after every event and dried.....yup OCD!

    Ride control.Does your 244J have that OPTION? Switch would be right hand console , there are a lot of great guys here on this site, give us your serial number, some techs might have access to a build date and options that that machine came with.

    *Same, In Southern New Hampshire, there is a dealer 15 miles from me, I have a few friends in the snow industry, and they said so much less expensive then Cat, Deere, Volvo etc. All have said inside is very basic and not like the other loaders I mentioned. Few here have purchased 65HP-150HP...
