    210le Trans Overfilled

I have a 210le with power shift and went to use it the other day and noticed that the trans was about 6” overfull on the dipstick. Also the hydraulic was either barely in the sight glass or it was just residual fluid. I didn’t have time to investigate yet but have some questions first. I...

    Terex 5519 project help.

I figured I would just start a thread on this project as it’s going to be on going. I am going through our new to us 5519 and noticed a couple things. 1 when in neutral it wants to move backwards, 2 when you start it it seems like one side of the hydraulic system has pressure when the controls...

Terex TX 5519 tilt safety valve.

My 5519 telehandler has a leaking safety valve. I don’t know much about them so I took it apart and broke the nipple off the top so two questions here. Why would oil be coming out the top of the valve and can you buy just the part I broke off? I can’t find it in the parts book. You have to buy...

Need a new bucket, extended lip vs regular lip low pro?

I have a cat 226b and looking at long bottom vs short bottom buckets. I was planning to get one with teeth and was thinking short bottom would be better. But I wouldn't mind more capacity that a long bottom gives. Am I overthinking this and should just get a long bottom tooth bucket or will it...

Making concrete last as loading area.

We are trying to see if there is a way to help our slab loading areas survive. We have waste piles that are stockpiled on slabs and loaded with large loaders with teeth. When I say large I’m talking letourneau 1350’s and bigger. The piles are very wet and often mud so just raising the bucket off...

    Can pressurized for d10n

Does anyone know of a kit for an aftermarket pressurized for the cab? The cab has new windows and good door seals but still manages to get dirt on the wrong side of the filters. They have checked the system best they can for leaks and can't really find anything. It can get pretty bad especially...

JD 210le park brake wont engage.

I am having issues with the park brake on a 210le skiploader. You can flip the switch and the brake wont set and when you put it in gear the alarm does not sound. Anybody have an idea what it could be? I have not spent anytime looking at it as i am searching for my uncle. He has troubleshot most...

    Letorneau l-1350 A/C question.

I know there are a few in the mining industry here. I'm only an operator but just researching. They just replaced the ac units with a new mine air system that just doesn't keep up in 80 degree weather. The unit says 10,000 btu/hr and 800 cfm. I'm curious what systems other mines use and how...

    Bucket with integrated thumbs?

I am looking for a bucket with its own thumb attached so I don't have to mount a cylinder on the stick. I've seen the Rockland krypto claw and looking for ones like that for a cat 385c.

    Rebuilding cat SS bucket...

I need to put a new floor and skid bars on my cat bucket. I need some advice on what to use for the floor material and bars. I was thinking 1/4"-3/8" mild steel for the floor and 3"x1/2" flat stock for the runners. Thanks!

    Rebuilding cat pilot controls.

How hard is it to rebuild the pilot controls on my 226b2? I had the drive control replaced an the bucket controls leaks too and needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Is it something I could do with basic tools or should I just opt for a new pilot control assembly?

    Cat engine info?

So out of curiosity what engines were in what machines and year range. I know they used Perkins for a while and then Mitsubishi. I was trying to figure out the year ranges. I have an 08 226b2 I got a smokin deal on and want to know if it has a Perkins which I think it does but not for sure. Thanks!

    Cat 226b2 seat bypass switch?

I want to bypass the pressure switch in the seat so I can operate the skidsteer from the seat of the backhoe. My bobcat the switch was messed up and I could sit in the backhoe seat and move the machine. So I want to wire in a switch so I can turn it on or off. Anybody know if this will work or...

    Saw something interesting...

I was cruising craigslist and ran across a cat 226 with a 78hp duetz in it in place of the Perkins. Looked fairly clean wonder how hard it was to do. http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/hvo/4329653596.html

    Rebuilding joysticks on 226b2?

Anybody done it? Both mine were leaking and I had the drive side replaced and thinking about trying to rebuild the right side myself. It seaps and the joystick is loose compared to the new one. A new pilot valve is around 900 but not sure how much a rebuild would be if I did it myself or if it's...

    Hows it goin?

Been lurking here for a while and finally decided to join, been around equipment my whole life and love it, had a 763 bobcat for side jobs and just upgraded to a cat 226b2 and enjoying it. I also operate equipment in a large open pit mine full time too. Just wanted to introduce my self!
