    Cat 313 B SR

Thinking this is a grey market machine. Without the serial (PIN) number it's just a guess on my part. You'll have a tough time getting any specs or parts from a dealer for this machine if it is a non-North American market machine.

    Cat SIS

We've been informed that CAT Parts Store doesn't support Internet Explorer any longer, that either Firefox or Chrome need to be used, possibly the issue?

Vts on cat 242 with bad drive bearing

VTS is a track system you can install on a skid steer. Your local CAT Dealer should have a contact at Loegering, thats the company that makes VTS. Or try www.loegering.com

    Cat 312 Auto engine throttle

I'll echo Nige here, the serial number is so important to have. I tell my customers it's like going into the Ford dealer and saying you need parts for a blue Ford...

    1995 953B Cat Loader question

    9BL prefix is a 963B, you'd be looking for a 5MK prefix for a similar era 953B.

    Cat 3126

This looks like an OEM# (Freightliner) the engine serial# should start with something like this, 1WM, the CAT prefix is usually a number followed by two letters. Call your Freightliner dealer and have him get you the build listing the installed engine, hopefully that will have the engine serial#

    Cat 3126

Without the engine serial number I'm going to take a wild guess and say it could be the fuel return valve at the rear of the cylinder head. See attached, highlighted area's.

    Do u like your 953D

I think we having a nomenclature issue, the hy-stat track loaders all have oscillating track frames, connected by and equalizer bar which has a rubber pad. The rollers are bolted to the track frame, no bogie style like the larger dozers.

    Field service guys.

This made me laugh out loud, as truer words were never spoken. But I always feel guilty doing that, like I have to buy a milkshake or something after stopping to avail myself of their restroom.

    Corner bucket adapter

1U-2209 is the right side corner shank, 1U-2208 is the left. Hardware would be qty 2 6F-0196 bolt and qty 2 2J-3505 nut.

    955l bottom questions

I might be misremembering, but I think the small u/c was D5 sized, and the large was a D6 sized. There was a ser# change around 85J11000 where D6 started being used IIRC.

Here's a screen shot of the F/D, plug circled.

    Cat 3126 wastegate

If it's a CAT turbo you are pretty much out of luck. They don't service the wastegates seperately. That being said, the turbo's are probably Garret or Borg Warner parts, might have to get in touch with a vendor for those, giving them any numbers found on the center section.

Low price & low hours, sounds too good to be true...

    977h be ware

Not many CAT parts guys think outside the box these days. Pretty sure I've finagled a hose for an old 53A 977 using CAT XT-3 hose & fittings a number of years ago.

Using engine oil in Cat 943 hydrostat transmission?

I recall when the CAT Hystats were first released back in the 80's a big selling point was that all compartments could use 15w40, that didn't last very long though...thinking a few failures may have sent them back to the drawing board.

    Who's Run the Largest Equipment?

Not sure if it counts, but about a decade ago I got to "run" a CAT 5130B FS, by run I mean operator was in the cab, I was in the hot seat and cycled the boom, stick & bucket a few times, didn't get to move it though sadly.

UHE vrs Standard trans filters in D8k

Betting the dealer sold you PNO 132-8876 UHE filter. An older machine such as the D8K should use PNO 1R-0741 Standard Efficiency.
