    Terex TS-14 scraper steering issues

It loads itself ok. I’d actually like another 20HP up front though. The back tires will spin but the front won’t. I like that it’s not so noisy up front.

    Terex TS-14 scraper steering issues

Fixed the slop in the linkage and the steering is way way better. A lot safer to drive down a road now. About a quarter turn of play now as well. Thanks

    Terex TS-14 scraper steering issues

Ya. pretty close to half a turn. I know of one spot that has slop in it right below the cab. It just has a bolt through some linkage there and I'm hoping that the bolt is a bit tight and creating a bind that is amplifying the jerkiness. Third gear and not at full throttle is tough to keep it on...

    Terex TS-14 scraper steering issues

Just started running a TS-14 scraper that I bought and I am totally new to the scraper business. Its and older machine that has a DT466 retrofitted up front and the 4-71 in the back. I can turn the steering wheel about a half turn each way before any action and then it seems to jump that way...

Pull behind compaction roller with tires for road transport?

Ya, the “walk-n-roll” is made right here in my home town of Havre, Montana. Unfortunately I have a snow wing bracket where the ripper mounts and I pry would use the snow wing more than a ripper and compaction roller. I have a ripper for it but haven’t changed it over.

Pull behind compaction roller with tires for road transport?

I’m really limited on turn around space and will need to be able to back up a bunch so that extra hinge point is undesirable for me. I appreciate your thoughts though.

Pull behind compaction roller with tires for road transport?

Hey all, I'm looking for about an 8'-9' wide smooth drum compaction roller that I can pull behind my grader. In the past I have seen a couple that have transport wheels so you can lift the roller and move quickly down a road. Anybody know of manufactures that build something like this? I do...

    Aftermarket boom suspension

You’ll like the new tires. I raided mine about ten miles the other day and it wasn’t too bad down a county road. I will probably hold off on doing a ride control scenario for now as well.

    Aftermarket boom suspension

I don’t have any updates at this time. Several projects came up that required my full attention...and it is now farming season. Lol

Thanks everyone for your input and if anyone hears of an aftermarket system that works well....Please let me know. I will aslo update you all as I progress.

    Aftermarket boom suspension

I probably will drop the pressure a bit but I need to be careful with the bias tires as they are not meant to flex on the sidewalls like a radial is. These are brand new tires that came with the loader and the next set will be radials but that could be years from now. I still hope I can come...

    Aftermarket boom suspension

John, What do you think the flow requirements might be while the ride control is switched on?

    Aftermarket boom suspension

If the spool is centered and the rod side is open to the tank, I should only need a “T” on the piston side with a switchable valve to shut off the accumulator....am I understanding that right? (The rod side is what pressures the arms down)

    Yes.
