    CASE CX135SR in limp mode

Thanks for your advice. The CASE dealership did just that, and the error code pointed to a communication error with the ECM ( U2106). When the brand ECM was installed, the problem did not go away. As the ECU has been replaced, its like, whats the next step. cheers

    CASE CX135SR in limp mode

Hello all, does anybody have experience with a CASE 135SR (2010 with a bit over 4000 hours) going into limp mode. Ours was operating fine and the rev down button on the joystick was pressed and the check engine light came on and it went into limp mode. Repressing the button did not fix the...

Excavating a pool with a Skid Steer

We asked to look at the job before we started, but he said that as it was an hourly rate job that did not matter...so we did give him the fixed price as our first time at the job was when we started work.

Excavating a pool with a Skid Steer

The crux of his (the pool sellers) argument is that we should have used a skid steer without the excavator and halved the time and that industry standard for a pool dig is 11 hours and we used double. We are now being listed for trial, but because its under 10k there will be no legal costs. He...

Excavating a pool with a Skid Steer

We recently performed a swimming pool dig in a confined back yard space. The material from the pool dig needed to be trammed to the front of the property to be removed from site. The only access was through a 1200 mm wide door with 2100 mm head height. We used a mini cat 301.4 c to do the...

    Anyone heard of a YC6108G

Has anyone heard of a YC6108G motor? This is the motor listed in the manual for the ZL30 F wheel loader (or YC6105-G10 motor optional) which appears from internet searching to be a Cummins motor, however the engine has Deutz written on it but the is no reference to these numbers when...

Komatsu PC220-5 Priming required to start

Here is an interesting one, my PC 220-5 requires priming to start if left for more than a few days between starts. When it needs priming, it will start as normal, run for about 10 seconds and then "run out of fuel" and stop. If the machine is used every day this problem does not occur - it...

Komatsu PC 220-5 Low tracking/walking power

Hello Farm Komatsu Perth was charging $5500 plus GST for a new swivel joint, I purchased one out of China for 300 USD plus 190 USD for air freight. We installed it in 5 hours, biggest problem was being covered in hydraulic oil, I am sure there is a trick to get rid of the oil first, but we...

Komatsu PC 220-5 Low tracking/walking power

Well finally......replaced the swivel joint and all is suddenly OK! After years of trying everything it was definitely the swivel joint so thanks for all the help. There must be a trick to not getting completely drenched in hydraulic oil though.
