Komatsu Dozer D 21 No power to left track ?

Hello, While unloading my D-21 I heard a bang on the left. Problem, I have no power to the left track, the right track is ok. Can anyone give me an idea as to what could have broke ? Everything else works as it should. I would really appreciate some ideas as to what might have happened.

JD 450 Loosing power and then stalling

This could be a long shot, however, it could be electrical (most likely in the key switch) such as a ground, or a wire shorting out. I had a similar problem with a JD tractor several years ago and thought it had to be a fuel problem. It turned out to be a ground on the key switch which caused...

    The Ultimate Small Dozer

350 C JD 8' 4" wide ?? Why do you recommend the "24 " grousers" I was under the impression they were hard on the chains and rollers ? I have a chance to buy a 350 C with wide grousers, the width of the machine is 8 feet 4 inches according to the seller. When he told me the width I...

How to load a small dozer onto a semi flatbed trailer?

A good set of heavy ramps will work just fine, however, you must be comfortable in your abilities, if not don't do it . Myself I have loaded several dozers on and off trailers, not to mention many many tractors without incident.

    The Ultimate Small Dozer

In reply to "swamp rat" many years ago i owned a International 340 GAS w/ a 6 way blade that had a 3pt. set up and it had down pressure. I can't remember if it had a PTO.

International Harvester 500C /Good or bad?

I applied diesel fuel all over the chains and ran it for about an hour, i also hit the tracks w/ a sledge and then ran it some more. I believe I'm going to have to heat them and apply some penetrating oil. I hear a product called PB blaster is one of the best for getting into the rusted areas...

John Deere 350 [/ATTACH] Hear is a view of the chain and sprockets. I drove it today and it seems to run ok ,not the best but will do. Appears it has a slight lower end noise but not sure, I'm going to change the fluids and filters and run it some more. Please NOTE: the LAST picture is not...

    is there a difference JD 350 vs 350 b

Yes i did, but have been unable to locate anything with in a price range that would dictate the little use it will get, probably no more than a 100 to 150 hrs. a year. Then i came across this one from a private owner with very good rails and steers and runs good according to the owner. So I...

    is there a difference JD 350 vs 350 b

Temu, good deal, i have a small stream i can swim the dozer in. I guess I'm taking a risk buying sight unseen but sometimes you have got to take a chance, plus dozers are very high priced in my area, the same machine would sell for $7500.00 or more and that is with a questionable U.C. so i...

    is there a difference JD 350 vs 350 b

Hey i have a place on the farm with a hard bottom and shallow water, thanks will try it . I thought that pouring oil in the chain would be the way to go but i guess it would pick up a lot of dirt.

    is there a difference JD 350 vs 350 b

Thanks again for the info. however, the machine is in Pennsylvania, and I'm in Missouri, the owner seems to be very forth coming w/ info. and says it is a very good dozer in all respects, mechanically it is very good, "he states". I believe I'm going to go ahead and buy it, the shipping will be...

    is there a difference JD 350 vs 350 b

Thank for the advice Iron@Dirt, do you believe the rails/tracks will straighten out where they are kinked? , the guy had new rails installed and they rusted up from non use and leaving the machine outdoors. Thanks, dillon

Yes he said he hasn't used the machine lately, do you think this will be a problem ? or will the tracks straighten out with some use.
