    Wabco 555 leaking seal

should be a standard lip seal. If you don't booger it up too bad removing it, or if there's numbers on it. Most bearing and seal places should be able to hook you up. That's what I've done for oddball stuff like that.

    Case 580G Power steering loss

I'm not sure how you could accomplish that without a gauge i'll do some pondering with some beers tonight. if you want to get super back woods, take the hose off, zip tie it to something, fire it up and see how far it shoots, lol

    Service truck parking

I always would park mine in the far back corner at my apartment lot and never got hassled. Other guys I've worked with would either rent a spot at a storage facility, or had a deal worked out with a business near them to park it there.

Grey market cat e110b tracking issue

Went to a customer today for a throttle issue on this machine. repaired that, but then they had me look at a tracking issue. When cold, countersteering is impossible. Once it warms up, it tracks back and forward pretty evenly, but the left track works great while the right barely works when...

    Td8g belly pan

I agree JPV, floor jack is idea, I just don't often find myself on a surface smooth enough to where a floor jack isn't just an aggravating pain in the tail to deal with lol. Another thing to consider is, whatever method you use to support it, make sure it's holding the pan before you even...

    Td8g belly pan

I never trust belly pan weights because they often have a few inches of heavy packed down dirt on them. Which pan are you talking about? If I remember correctly there's 2, one under the engine, one under the rear. I work out of a pickup without a crane, so I usually use 2 chain come alongs...

    looking at new loaders

I've worked on a few certified rebuilds when I was at cat. The machine even gets a new serial number when you get it back. New seat, and headliner even. And if you are a persuasive individual, you can usually talk your way into a pretty cheap rental machine while yours is being built

    Junkyard's work thread.....maybe haha

Love those IMT units, we had a 2 pins in the swivel area on the boom break over the summer on a 270, talk about a pain in the turd cutter. Hope you're liking the new job, I may be in your neck of the woods doing some work in pryor soon.

    Smallest compressor for service truck

I'm in the process of looking at a new work truck, and am looking at my compressor options. Would one of those "wheel barrow" style compressors run things like an inch gun? It's just crazy to me how expensive these things are, but you gotta pay to play I reckon. Heard decent things about...
