    I dont know to be honest mate. I didnt change anything other than removing the thermostats themselves. We were pulling a cutterbar with it and it would over heat in about an hour from cold and now itll run a 10 hour day at about three quarters up the temp gauge.

    Might be worth looking in the pipe from the thermostats to the motor. My 1150D was over heating and one of the thermostats had broken off and was partially blocking the flow. I fished it out and ditched both thermostats and it runs good now.

    Holes in cutting edges....

    I don't know if it's the right way or not but we usually just heat a dot where you want the hole and When it cools its soft enough to put a sharp rota broach through with a mag drill.

    Case 1150 D Good or Bad

    Hi all im new to the forum and really enjoying it. I have had a 88 model 1150d for four years and I cant fault it yet. Like sheepfoot said they still had the case engine and they're a handy little tractor , definitely wont go wrong with one For the farm
