    Volvo L35B Pro

    Hello, Just bought a L35B Pro and wondering if someone can point me in the right direction for manuals? I'm only finding downloads on line. Also I don't any of these manuals being for the "Pro" version...I don't think there's much if any difference to the non-pro. Maybe it's just a package...

    Ok so now we're talking.....it's a totally different loader! It's really moving now, lots of power, quite a bit faster...is the shift fairly smooth on these? I'm going to have to gps to know actual speed ( I'm happy either way) Will do some more testing tomorrow . Appreciate all the help!

    I have a question.....if I unhook the linkage what stops the lever from rotating? It would seem that I can make it go way past what the linkage could pull, it's pulling 1/4" further than before getting 2000rpm

    So I decided to adjust the floor stopper, I'm getting 2000~ rpm now. Noticeable difference in speed/power but that's a seat of the pants feel. I don't think I want to adjust it anymore than that.

    I know that the lever hits the stop as I had to make a new pedal assembly ( old one rusted away) The motor was rebuilt and valves set by previous owner who is a Cat mech) it does appear to be rebuilt and runs very smooth. Any suggestions? So far everything on this loader has just been neglect.

    OK I got a diesel tach in. ( calibrated with digital photo tach at idle, 1200 rpm and full throttle (1700 rpm) so I know it's matched to gage) here's what I found to mg2361 1. Get the engine full rpm - no load. Engine hot 190, trans hot 140 ? , trans in neutral yes, pedal to the metal yes...

    ok so now I'm wondering if the turbo isn't working, would it affect the shifting? The load on the transmission is too much for it to upshift?

    544D front locker solenoid obsolete.....

    Update....took it apart....valve looked the same, just a different solenoid (coil) on top. Cleaned it all and put it back together ran a separate 12v to jump it to see if it would work ....Voila! I now have a working front locker. I'm hoping there's a simple fix for the transmission!

    Ok so there no chance at all of some wiring being plugged in wrong or anything? The motor was rebuilt so I'm wondering if maybe something is "just not right"? It seems like it been neglect that's the culprit on this unit as I've found many things just need a good cleaning or a ground cleaned...

    that is correct in (L) I have first gear, in (H) I third gear which is really first gear high range. So it never shifts by itself.

    So it's #10 that is obsolete now. The cat mechanic has put on a different solenoid valve so there's no way for me to know what original one was. Thanks for the quick replies, not much use in posting a pic of this. I'm wondering if there's anyway to manual engage it?

    I will take a picture tonight but it was a Cat mechanic trying to make a cat part work on a JD. Basically I need an alternate way to lock/unlock the locker (IF it even works!) I don't understand how or what the hydraulic circuit does to "lock" the diff. Is it like an ARB in the 4x4 world?

    544d...maybe 544c....where is windshield washer pump/resevoir??

    I knw this seems like a silly question but I am completely stumped....where is this supposed to be...what are the colour of the wires to the pump? I have no resevoir or pump...and a bunch of dangling wires but machine runs...be nice to sort out one little mess! much appreciated! jamie
