    Do a sniffer test on it. Not sure what u call it over there its basically a fluid that changes color if exhaust gas is present. If it does then ur gasket is bad.

    As the lads said check the cables and earths. Also u could try borrow a starter off another machine if available. If u need a new starter I'd fit a geared one it will transform the machine

    Run a new wire. I wouldn't bother trying to chase the fault as it could be anywhere.

    work in canada

    thinking of heading to canada in the new year whats the story with work and a visa do i need to have a job before i go. over here in ireland i drive wheeled backhoes, excavators, tractors. would try drive anything. i wouldnt mind trying a bit of logging. TIA nick
