CAT 323D (320) Engine Speed problem

There was silicone pieces, from I guess previous rebuild or repairs. Also, the oil was bit dirty. Filter most probably also clogged up with some silicone. Now I am waiting for a new oil level switch (213-0677), to get rid of that annoying message on the screen.

Cat 308 Boom will not move

Could the piston inside the cylinder be stuck? Remove the bottom hose to relieve oil pressure. Be careful; it can move down quickly if the hose get off.

CAT 323D (320) Engine Speed problem

OK, Sorted. The ECM goes into "limp mode" and limit the speed to setting 5 when you have low engine oil pressure. I removed and cleaned the sump and oil screen. New engine oil and filter.

CAT 323D (320) Engine Speed problem

The electronic throttle/step governor is working OK. I used the manual override, behind the armrest, to go to max revs. So, its not stuck and can go all the way and cables also OK. So, it must be ECU that is restricting throttle for engine "safety". Either hydraulic or engine itself. Stay tuned...

    CAT 323D Ignition fuse blowing

Hi there I unplugged all the connections by the hydroponic pump. Machine started up. Reconnected them 1 by 1. Machine worked for about 1 hour. Then blow the fuse again. Unpluged only the Solenoid - Power Shift Pressure, and it did not blow the fuse. I guess that's the problem. How do I test it...
