Thanks CM and Savman. It is slick. Once you get used to being able to rotate you want to rotate everything (lol) CM if you have thumb lines all you need is a rotate circuit. That grapple does not need a case drain.

Here are a few pics of how the sorting grapple does on different things. I am using it to take the concrete off of the steel deck. The stuff under the steel deck is styrofoam and not concrete lol.

Hey Savman, It is awesome! I’ve been running it on our 250 doing demo, sorting, loading scrap and debris, and I’ve been taking the concrete slab off of the steel deck. I love it. I think you can get a better load in the trucks with and you don’t have be in the perfect spot like a thumb. You...

A little parking lot we did for the the same owner as the demolition job. It was high priority. 6 inches of crushed concrete, 2 inches of plantation mix and parking bumpers.

CM, I believe it has an AC duct running to it. I will investigate further. As for the joystick, I thought about it but after 25 plus years running trackloader I figured it best to stick with what I know. The head of Cat trackloaders said that all the old guys run the v pattern with the pedals...

Ours is the only one around here also. Don’t know why more people don’t use them for clearing.

Hey CM, well all of our 963s have been a little lite in the rear so we were going to do counterweights but I figured the ripper would make a counterweight, a bumper and a ripper as well.

Making pretty good progress on the demo. Been doing a few other things for the same owner in between. 4:00 Friday, need to get that scrap in the truck.

Getting started on a another demo job. It’s steel frame on an elevated slab. I wish it was a slab in grade. Would be much easier.

Turned out real nice. I am glad to see that we’re not the only ones doing jobs like that. Owner should be happy!

Oh wow. That looks like a fun one Skyking! Yes there definitely is no access on that one. A really nice yard though. The good thing about the tough jobs are they pay well. Nothing easy on that job. Turned out good though. The owner will be surprised when he gets home. I figure 26 tons in that...
