Tracks for a wheeled skid steer, anybody done this?

I'm sorry that I took so long in replying HillBoy, I am very happy with my Bullman tracks. As I stated in an earlier post they are a sister company to Mclaren that are located at the the same address so they can't be half bad. I have Mclaren Nu-air tires with the Bullman bar type tracks and they...

    Transporting tubo equipped machines

I've never read anything in an owners manual regarding if you should cover the exhaust or not. But what I do know is that the guy who signs my paycheck once told me if I'am moving a machine of his and the stack is facing backwards that he wants it capped.

    average price?

I went though the same situation last year. I used to borrow a friends 743 alot then my cousin got a 753, and last year I got my own 763. I like all 3 machines but my advice is to try and find a 763 I don't think it's any stronger but with the longer wheelbase it is smoother to operate. And will...

    Bobcat hyd fittings

Thankyou for the reply, I know that a couple of hoses have chaffed and one of them is spotless at the fitting and everthing around it is covered in muck. Thanks for the advice on the pintle shaft and control valve I'll check there also.

    Bobcat hyd fittings

Does a Bobcat 763 use JIC fittings. I've got a couple of small leaks to chase down and I have access to a truck load of hyd hoses and fittings. My 2 biggest problems are that Ive never worked on a Bobcat brand machine and it's located 300 mi from where I live.

    Bobcat Fuel Problem

This is going to sound stupid, but a couple of years ago I had a 743 to work on that was doing the same thing. If I took the fuel line off the in side of the filter you would hear a vacum sound. I did a little digging around and found an inline fuel shut-off a screw type like the ones found on...

    whats the difference?

You can gain a little ground clearance by putting a shimor 2 under the legs that sit on the deck of the trailer. I think I had a couple of pieces of 1" flat stock that I'd use in a pinch, but it's been 20yr since I pulled that trailer.

    Best type of older skidsteer?

I just bought an older 763 with 2300 hrs on it and could'nt be happier with it. I've used a 743 and 753 a little and liked them both but like the 763 alot better. It is smoother to operarate lifts alittle more and does'nt want to go over backwards as fast when you are going up a steep hill...
