Hayes trucks in the logging industry

Now that’s awesome. People can say what they like about this old stuff being crude and hard on fuel but it’s tough to beat in my opinion. Good quality steel and a green leaker. That’s about as simple as you can get! Try neglecting a fully electronic 2020 machine for decades and see what happens.

Vancouver Island, BC. Logging at its Best!

Sounds like a busy summer! That would be great if you can make it over here. If you could only make one event, the one in Port Alberni would probably make for a more entertaining weekend given the other sights and people to see away from the show. I missed that show last year and likely will...

Vancouver Island, BC. Logging at its Best!

The Duncan show is July 13-14. A bunch of us will be there with toys messing around in the dirt. I’m not sure of the dates for the Alberni show but it is definitely happening. It’s usually Labor Day weekend I think.

Hayes trucks in the logging industry

Haha. I have zero patience for a lot of things in life but with this they are almost endless. I get frustrated, upset and disappointed for sure but only say f&@$ really loud. A couple of years back I was building a very expensive post side end dump trailer for a customer. I was milling some...

Hayes trucks in the logging industry

Well I almost had a throw it on the ground and stomp it moment today but I'm too far into this to do that. I did however say a few really bad words beginning with f's and c's but I walked away and came back a few minutes later. Anyway, this problem is taken care of so we'll see what tomorrow...

Hayes trucks in the logging industry

Thanks Hank. A lot of the challenges during these builds I really look forward to. Trying to figure out how to make a difficult part may keep me awake at night from time to time but that's what keeps me motivated. Painting just so happens to be the one thing that everyone notices first and I...

I haven't posted on here in a long time. I have been working on this Hayes for quite a while whenever time permits in between customer builds. I think I finally have it nearly ready for paint.
