Help needed with Takeuchi Coolant Level Sensor Circuit (TB175).

Can I just But a little flux and heat on there and try and put a drop of solder on the top of each of those and that might fix it? Spending a hundred bucks on the part doesn't seem like much but I'm not entirely sure it will fix the problem and could just be money wasted. If I could resolder it...

Help needed with Takeuchi Coolant Level Sensor Circuit (TB175).

The connections all seem ok but I'm unsure how to test. I could just replace it and see BUT... The machine behaves normally with it unplugged and this circuit is such a problem in takuchi machines, there's so many failure points that will leave you stranded... I'm actually thinking the...

Help needed with Takeuchi Coolant Level Sensor Circuit (TB175).

So the detector gets power from red/ black. When it tetects ground on blue/yellow it grounds out green which goes to relay 5. I put a sniffer on it and found it. It's located by the operators right foot just under the joystick above the floor. Grounding green. Manually causes it to click. I...

Help needed with Takeuchi Coolant Level Sensor Circuit (TB175).

Yes my book also shows the detector but it does not show the location of the relay that it goes to. Studying the wiring diagram it looks as though the detector grounds the green wire which then allows that relay to open but I don't know where it is. I'm tempted to try grounding the green wire...

Help needed with Takeuchi Coolant Level Sensor Circuit (TB175).

Well grounding doesn't clear the fault for me. Anyone know where the coolant sensor relay is? Is it in the gauge cluster?

Help needed with Takeuchi Coolant Level Sensor Circuit (TB175).

I've also seen the rumor that if you ground the coolant level sensor wire to the block that should clear the fault if the sensor is responsible but can anyone confirm that? It looks as though it's a capacitive sensor and it has its own detector. Which leads me to believe that might not work and...

Help needed with Takeuchi Coolant Level Sensor Circuit (TB175).

Looking at this description from the service manual it seems like unplugging the oil sensor and unplugging the detector would prevent the auto shutdown circuit from being activated? Yet neither has an effect.

Help needed with Takeuchi Coolant Level Sensor Circuit (TB175).

Takeuchi TB175 Oil/ Coolant alarm is stuck on at start. Occasionally while operating there will be a click behind the seat and it will turn off. Does the coolant level detector make it clicking noise? Or is this a stuck relay? I have confirmed the oil level sensor is functioning. (Continuity...

Takeuchi TB175 starts and runs but no console lights

Oh and I almost forgot It's very important that you trace the corroded wires back through the insulation until you get to a point where there is no corrosion. I did half to cut out a foot or two of battery cable and replace it because the corrosion was tracking back in the insulation and I...

Takeuchi TB175 starts and runs but no console lights

I only had to open the loom a distance of about 2 or 3 ft from the battery to unearth the clear disaster that had unfolded there. Access was very simple. Much simpler than trying to dig through the belly of the machine. I just replaced the connections wrapped everything back up and the machine...

Takeuchi TB175 starts and runs but no console lights

Yes! So after spending hours with a voltmeter chasing things all over the place I finally just decided to start with the wiring loom at the battery and trace it back and you would not believe what I found. So the wiring loom as it originates from the battery travels along the floor that the...

Is the Cat 248 (non B) high flow only?

The caterpillar 228 and 248 were only produced in high flow. They were the high flow versions of the 226 and 246. They are somewhat funny looking with their massive high flow hoses arching high into the air where they could be ripped off or damaged. It was caterpillars first try at high flow...

Is the Cat 248 (non B) high flow only?

Unlike the 248b I do not see a high flow toggle switch on the 248 or any mention of standard vs high flow. Is the 248 always running high pressure/ high flow to the auxillary circuits? Or is it standard flow unless unless it senses a high flow attachment at the auxiliary electrical connection...

226d how to tell if high flow?

I'm looking at a 226d today and the seller is trying to tell me it's a high flow machine but it only has the three couplers that I see on the standard machines. Is there any way to tell? It does not say high flow of the side badging.

Joystick pilot vs electric control delay consideration when buying?

Is this a dealer adjustment or something the end user can do through button pushes?

Joystick pilot vs electric control delay consideration when buying?

Buying a new skid steer right now for snow clearing where fine movements are the norm. Getting as close as possible with attachments to things. I tried a used bobcat with electric joysticks and my god it was aweful. Probably a full half second delay between input and action. Was driving me...
