How big of dozer would I need?
I would do this with a D5H lgp , D6M lgp , or D6N Lgp size blade (all the same size) no problem. D6R would be prefered but if you are trying to cut cost's .... -

Weather
Oriden- Unless you are Condrain or Tacc, goodluck getting very much work this year. Everyone i Know is down at least 75%. Thank God the Goverment and municipal contracts hasnt completely slowed down yet. Hopefully this early thaw will mean an early start.- T_S_S

Yea i was talking to the Nortrax guys about that 450, they told me $520,000 and it could be mine. They almost pooped themselves when I told them we got ours with 800 hours , brand new full grapple, and a 4.5 cyd bucket for $210,000. Are you already headed back out west? I will be in Edmonton... -

Mabee they needed the pile moved quick time so they bring in the larger excavator, or it was already onsite doing the building pad or whatever. I wouldnt bring a smaller machine on site to load trucks if i had a 400 size machine there.- T_S_S
