MTL Attachments- not a good experience...

It's a shame that we have to deal with shoddy businesses and terrible customer service, but that is what builds winners and losers. Unfortunately, throughout the declining process, customers get screwed due to the various owner's bad practices. It takes time to sort the grain from the chaff.

Can HIGH FLOW be run in REVERSE?

So the SkidPro high flow cutter with no case drain and a 6000 Charlynn motor is not a good setup for longevity? Now I am confused, it's touted by so many as the best. Or is the reason because there isn't a case drain? They say it has the check built into the valve body they install at the motor...

Can HIGH FLOW be run in REVERSE?

Are you swapping the hoses on a high flow CID? Your explanation makes sense and I have seen the video of swapping the hoses on the CID Extreme but wasn't certain about the flow except that it has two hoses and no case drain. Their piston pump does have a case drain. Also, that would mean the...

Can HIGH FLOW be run in REVERSE?

I really don't know if high flow pumps run backward, but if doing as you say, it would be easy to add a couple of adaptors to accomplish it.

Can HIGH FLOW be run in REVERSE?

This may sound like a dumb question to most of you, however, I have conflicting information from both a dealer and manufacturer's websites. My Kubota SVL75-2 has the high flow option. I am going to purchase a SkidPro Industrial brush cutter, they appear to be the best unit for the dollar right...

Bobcat T 770 High Flow Hydrolic problem

There must be a solenoid or microswitch that operates the high flow, check that out. Sometimes when those heat up they can be problematic. Knowing very little about your skid steer wiring but guessing from my own experience with those devices.

MTL Attachments- not a good experience...

I'm still looking but was delayed quite a bit with other projects so now back at it. Appears the Skidpro Industrial Cutter is the twin to Blue Diamond Extreme. Take a look at the pictures, it's quite obvious, the outer appearance and below deck, the flywheel and blade configuration. My local...

MTL Attachments- not a good experience...

Bdirtdobber wow! It appears the terrible customer service, and apparently lack of product quality (per Tyler and others) is shared among all of us unfortunate callers.

MTL Attachments- not a good experience...

You might be correct, I'm no expert. The jest of this though is how the issue was handled by the seller/manufacturer. The Bradco, of course, is a far more expensive cutter.

    Newer style Bobcat Brushcat

I don't other than speaking to the salesmen online and watching all the videos they have on youtube. Seemed a bit too pricey for me though. Not certain whether they actually make their own product either, or are they simply another .com call center.

I did request a quote from a dealer, found out from the factory that he sells them, but he sent me a quote for a Bradco instead. Not certain why, but I'll check with him after the holiday. SkidPro sent me a quote for their industrial cutter too, it's $7800 with shipping. It's a decent looking...

MTL Attachments- not a good experience...

Isn't that something! Fortunately, I found a video affirming what I suspected, they are terrible about anything after the sale. Look at this, notice the HTL cutter involved in the problematic motor and service issue and listen to the owner. The motor itself is undersized, no wonder he became so...

Any updates on these cutters? I've looked at so many my o_O head is spinning while trying to sort the BS from the facts. Waiting for a quote from my local dealer on a Blue Diamond, he knows I have been shopping around. CID is in the running. I love the MTL for the price, but the owner of that...

I agree, what an ass! Also, I'll look at the Vail, had not heard of that one.

MTL Attachments- not a good experience...

Over the past month I have been looking at and comparing heavy duty brush cutters for my track loader. I was narrowing down to three manufactures based upon quality vs price, they are CID/RUT/MTL. With each of these I reviewed all available information on the manufacturers website, watched...
