Bomag BW211-D 3, 84" roller, no assisted steering

So my 84" roller stopped having power steering. It is extremely difficult to turn, there is no help from the pump. The pump looks okay, but is getting extremely hot. Is there a valve that could be bypassing the fluid after the pump? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

JLG 600AJ Dual Fuel, gas problems

It's been mostly used on propane, the gas problem has been going on since we got it from auction. Maybe run it out of fuel and add seafoam and fresh fuel. In Canada the ethanol blends are only up to 10% in all of the fuel I think. Is that what your talking about? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

JLG 600AJ Dual Fuel, gas problems

Yes, I'm a diesel guy. Just trying to figure out what could be different from gas to propane besides fuel? Does propane ignite easier? Could it be the injectors? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

JLG 600AJ Dual Fuel, gas problems

So I have a dual fuel jlg with a ford engine. Machine runs good on propane, but bogs and runs rough on gas. Fuel seems okay, pressure is good. What else would affect running from propane to gas? Would changing plugs and wires be worth while? Machine has 3000 hours. I've also swapped out most...

    Cat Telehandler, seized pin

Yeah.. the bearing spins now it is just that inside face of the bearing is seized to the pin. I'm going to try and weld a bar and plate to the pin and is that fails painfully cut it twice so I can remove the cylinder then pin. Thanks for the tips. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

    Cat Telehandler, seized pin

Pin bosses are free, as I welded a bar to try turning the pin. It's just the cylinder bearing that's seized. Thanks for the ideas, keep em coming! :)

    Cat Telehandler, seized pin

That's a good idea... if I do that, I'm not sure where I can heat the pin from. I have round bar and a port a power though, thanks for the tip.

    Cat Telehandler, seized pin

So I have a Cat telehandler and the keeper for one of the lift cylinder pins was broken. This cylinder has a bearing pressed into it and no grease zerk for that reason. Now, the bearing seized and the inner surface of the bearing seized to the pin. The pin only has access on the one side and...

    F650 with Caterpillar C7 ACERT

Thanks for the info. Luckily I don't need it, as the rear ECM plug is extremely difficult to get to, let alone probe. The ECM harness between the inline fuse and a plug by the starter was losing 2.5v. By the time I removed the section of harness there was no continuity left in the power...

    F650 with Caterpillar C7 ACERT

The truck was running fine. It was driven for a delivery first thing in the morning, left it idle back at the shop. About 15 minutes later, it was moved and turned off. Later in the afternoon, the truck wouldn't start. At first I thought it was the intake heater, because the "Wait to Start"...

    Bobcat E35, 50hr service reset

I service the machine, not the dealer. If anybody else needs this procedure it is as follows: Turn the key off, or hit the stop button. Hit the information button to turn on the display. Hold the information and aux buttons simultaneously and wait until reset pops on the display. Done.
