    not so new 37g

Hey Slayer, you heard anything about an Auction coming up in Gillette by Ritchie Bros? I got a brochure that had a whole bunch of 651E's and 657's. I was just wondering if this might of been the outfit your friends work for. I think part of them were Larry's Inc, but i don't know that for sure...

    Tts-14

I went to Laramie Wyoming to see if that TTS14 was still there. It was, but they had pulled the back can off and set them side by side. It will probably set there and rust for the rest of its life or in up scrapped!

Still shopping for a scraper. Do you know where one is?

Just wandering if you have found you a scraper yet, Fastline. Man don't let me discourage from the 633's. The ones I was around held up really well. Not much mechanical problems at all. They just did'nt fit in our operation. I hope you find what you looking for. Sorry for the negativity before...

Still shopping for a scraper. Do you know where one is?

Yea, I don't know that about the 633E's sliding floors. 23's worked well, I never had a problem with them. I suppose if you used them in rock they would get bent out of shape. We had only 633's running beside 631B's down kinda close to your neck of the woods d9gdon.

Still shopping for a scraper. Do you know where one is?

Never was a big fan of the roll up floor when you dump on the 633D or older scraper. The E's have a roll back floor like the 23's do and that would be a lot better. The floor on the older ones would drop down about 4 to 6 inches below the bottom of the scraper before they rolled back up in the...

    DW20's

Yea Quad, I couldn't tell you. The 20's I ran were 88E's with 482 scrapers. The cutting brakes worked pretty good for what i needed them to do. I know the ones I ran did not have a hydraulic lift on the front. They did have any hyd nothing on them. We had D8H's for push cats. No D9's. These old...

Still shopping for a scraper. Do you know where one is?

There's a 623B down in Amarillo for $18,000. All it has is a ROPS on it, No cab. pics on machinery trader. If its in any kind of shape at all, it would be worth it and much better scraper than 633 in my opinion.

I took the back road from Sheridan to Gillette about two months ago. I had'nt been that way in along time. I do remember seeing a bunch of 51's and probably 57's working at one of the mines just north of Gillette. That might have been your friends.
