    Tightening tracks on Cat 963???

Care to elaborate??? This machine is for our personal use and rarely sees more than 50 hours a year on it, thus we understand and are aware that some components are beyond wear limits but do not make financial sense for us to replace.

    Tightening tracks on Cat 963???

I stated that I do have another hole that I can move the idler brackets forward, thus it would help tighten the track further. Mine are in the rearward set of holes now and the tightening cylinders are maxxed out but the tracks are still way too loose.

    Tightening tracks on Cat 963???

Yes my number is 21Z04421. I got the loader home so now you can tell me what to do. I looked and I DO have another set of forward holes so I guess I can move the idler arms forward to help tighten the tracks. Looks like the bushings in the bottom of that arm are worn so maybe they need...

    Tightening tracks on Cat 963???

Well make sure that you don't go anywhere LOL because I will be letting you know what's going on as soon as I get the thing hauled back to my shop. I think I'd rather have it here to work on rather than in the field. Thanks for helping and I'll get back with you later.

    Tightening tracks on Cat 963???

Thanks. I will be getting back to you after I find time to check things out further. Planting season is going on her and that takes priority over everything. You didn't say if it's possible to remove a link if I have no further adjustment.

    Tightening tracks on Cat 963???

Can you remove a link to tighten tracks if you have run out of adjustment? Would greasing the track tension out too far cause the rod to leak grease around the end or is the seal blown? I'm new at tightening these tracks and need some guidance. Have had the machine for a long time and it's too...

    Wanted- JCB Qfit brackets

I have a telehander with the Qfit mount and am looking for the brackets or old attachments that have the brackets that I could remove and make myself an adapter to pick up various other types of attachments -- such as Bob-tach. Hoping to find something reasonably inexpensive and close. I'm in...

    John Deere 9630 repair information...

I only pull a field cultivator with it and sometimes a chisel plow. So the hydraulics just get used for a "full stroke" one way or the other-----up and/or down. There is no constant oil flowing with any of the implements that I pull. such as running a fan or constant down pressure. Thanks...

JCB 532 - tell me the good and bad

Fuel going in the pump and none coming out the injector lines. I tried looking foe a service manual on Ebay but couldn't find my particular model. As for the PDF downloads, I'm not a fan. Would rather have paper. I also found out today that I do in fact have a Perkins engine....not the JCB.

JCB 532 - tell me the good and bad

I believe it is a 2004 and it does have the JCB engine but I haven't found any tags on the engine yet to specify it. I'll give the numbers that I have from the assembly tag and maybe someone can shed some light on what I'm dealing with. VIN- SLP532GA4E1064352 Engine serial # U110928L

    John Deere 9630 repair information...

Agtalk isn't any help. I've tried and nobody seems to know anything about a "scraper special" even though it's not much different than an ag tractor. I'm mainly interested in knowing what the solenoids do on each end of the hydraulic remotes do. There is one on each end of each remote. What kind...

JCB 532 - tell me the good and bad

I have recently purchased a JCB 532 telehandler and would like any info on them you guys may have. Mine isn't running at the moment and I have come to the conclusion that the injector pump is bad. Is this a common thing for these? Where's the best place to get one? I'm in Ohio.
