Yes the pan will come out, there's not much room. Remove the sump, then the oil pump. The scavenge pipe stays with the plate and it comes off last. Does the crank move at all, or is it solid?

how doI install fueinjector pump on D6C 10K

So your pump has a plate on the side. That would mean that it is a sleeve metering pump. On the back end of the governor housing there will be a 1/2" bolt Head, that's the timing pin. On the side of the pump to the left of the plate will be a small cover, 2 small bolts hold it in place. On that...

how doI install fueinjector pump on D6C 10K

Robert, Bob/ Ont is correct, the D6C. 10k engines have an offset tang and it's just a matter of replacing inj. Pumps. The type of pump that "grampa" is talking of, is the later sleeve metering fuel system on D6D's, and in that case he is right, you turn the engine and "pin" the pump and then pin...

    advice

No you do not need to change your engine speed. With a direct drive cat (standard) your control is how abruptly you engage your clutch when you change directions. I have an old D4D, I pick a throttle setting suitable for the type of work I'm doing and leave it alone. Hope this helps, good luck...

That knurled knob is the fuel priming pump, the bleeder is that slotted screw, loosen the lock nut, before you try opening the bleeder. Pump until you have no bubbles coming, it will take awhile. After you have bled the air out, you will possibly have to loosen each of the fuel injection lines...

    140G problems

A couple of things I've come across, are a plugged fuel cap vent, something in the fuel tank. The fuel cap problem, when the engine dies, loosen the fuel cap, you should hear air rushing past the threads. A slight swooshing sound. Usually with a piece of plastic in the tank, the machine won't...

What Are The Best Tools On The Market?

Snap On is the best, but your 20,000 won't go too far. I've been a Field Mechanic for over 35 yrs. Most of my hand tools are Snap On, OTC is the best for pullers and press equipment, Ingersoll Rand and Snap On for air tools, I do have some Mac. Snap On are slender, fit more awkward places and...

    Increasing HP

Your H.P. Is determine by the fuel setting in the fuel injection system (injection pump), the hydraulics are limited by your relief valve settings (psi). Increasing your fuel setting for more engine H.P. will have an effect only up to the overall setting of your hydraulic circuit pressure settings.

    Welcome!!!

Mechanic (Straycat.Inc) You are better off to find a 3306 and stick to the original type, anytime you try and do a conversion, there is a lot to modify. A D7G doesn't need anymore horse power than a 3306 has, a 3306 is an excellent engine and the machine has a good balance. In my opinion...
