Where did you find the specs you were looking at? CAT website or somewhere else? I figured there were some major differences but did not see them from richiespecs. Thanks.

    725 vs 730

I have a question for the experienced artic truck guys out there. We are finally going to add some trucks to our fleet, and have been doing some comparisons between several different brand and size trucks. The CAT 730 and 725 seem to be very similar when looking at the specs side by side on...

    320C Air Conditioning not cool

Our 320C has been giving us some issues with the air conditioning not blow cool enough. It always has kept us cool but now its not getting the job done. I wouldn't say its blowing warm just not as cool as normal. Also the digital ac control (where you turn the temp up and down on the control...

Trimble Business Center on a Mac?

Just thought I would give an update. I went through with the purchase of TBC-HCE and partitioned my Macs hard drive to run windows. I have had no problems with it so far, and I have been running it for about 2 months.

    Shop Made Dozer Masts

Yeah tekemp, thats what I was kind of afraid of. The 4' mast is pretty solid, but I could see almost doubling the height could put some serious stress on the parts. I think that blade vibration would be amplified also without some sort of shock absorber. Anyone else have any ideas?

    Looking for a new dozer

We have a D6K2 and I really like it. Strong enough to move some material and finish grade plus its easy on fuel, comfortable, and good visibility out of the cab. And like others have said, its hard to beat CATs service.

    Shop Made Dozer Masts

We just recently purchased a machine control setup (laser guided) for our dozer (D6K2) and while we were pleased with the overall function of the equipment, we were less than impressed with the lower end masts that came with the package. I checked with the salesman and the next step up in mast...

    Land clearing question

Could you please explain a little more about the standard of 1000SF = 100CY. I've never heard of this. Do you convert that over to loads by the cubic yardage of your dump truck or trailer? So say if my dump trailer is approx. 45 yards, a 1000 SF house would be just over 2 loads. I understand...

Funderburk went out of business last year. They auctioned everything off including the homeplace and shopyard. Its sad to see a company that had been around the area for so long go under. Coorecat we do some sub work with Dellinger now, how long ago did you work for them?
