Why a 6 way blade--can angle and grade. If blade is always at same angle as tracks, the you can't change much about keeping surface graded to get water off quickly or clear the ditches. Tracks vs tires??? depends on use, I have both--JD 4020D, Kubota L3400, Dresser TD7G, CAT 311C, Kubota... -

I moved a Case 450 tracked/loader here from Il. OK for a start, then went to Dresser TD 7G (17,ooo#) with 6 way blade. You don't want a straight blade in dozer below 30K. -

Desperately need a part for a IH DT329
I've gotten parts, etc. from Schaefer Enterprises at Wolf Lake, IL --way down in southern tip of Illinois. http://www.sewlparts.com/ They have an incredible inventory as they buy salvage from all over the country. If you call them, they can tell almost instantly if they have what you need. -

Case 859G
My experience with a 450 Crawler and 580 Backhoe is that condensation gathers in the brake housing, corrodes and locks up the brakes. The brake housing on the 580 had a weep hole in it, but a bit of brake dust & rust will block it leading to further rust, etc. I don't know the 850G's system...
