    we checked them, as a matter of fact, one had the hook piece broken, we replaced it, but that did not fix the issue.

    Of course it’s apart. The 1.6” round hole is over 2” oval. The top half of the bushing is gone both pivot pins front and rear are worn. No bushing in the world will fix this with some welding or expand the hole to a round 2” and sleeve it. Which is the plan.

    I sure would like to get all the information I could to make my own line boring machine. I have a John Deere tractor I need to line bore the front axle pivot. I can get a boring shaft, I can do the bearings, just need a drive motor.

    I would think so. My dash is in pitiful shape. Tach doesn't work and such. I plan n making a different dash. But could use a good tach and cable. Is it permissible to pm you an email address?
