    Hanson shovel

Here's an image of a Hanson 654-H convertible excavator/crane. I've read Hanson was quite popular with the military. And I have seen pics of their later hydraulic rough terrain cranes and truck cranes. Don't know much about their clutch/brake machines. Any of you remember these?

    various scans of neat machinery

Testing my new scanner with bits from my collection. The TEREX 82-80 image is from a 1972 brochure (note lack of a ROPS). The Komatsu image is from a 1970 vintage sheet (this also lacks a ROPS). I believe the Sargent DD410 (1960 brochure) was a 1/2 yd. machine. ENJOY!:)

Looks like an LS-85, which emerged post-WWII. Power was either a Waukesha 6-SRK gas engine, or a CAT D8800 diesel engine. Any of...

Link-Belt LS 98D/LS108D questions (FMC or Sumitomo)

The late '80's-thru-mid '90s drag/clam/cranes that still had clutches & brakes, roller-chain PTO, chain-drive crawlers, and Detroit 4-71N & 6-71N power with either friction plate clutch or torque converter, and Speed-O-Matic control.....The "D" was for Dragline. I read they both were rated at...
