    Rut mfg brush cutters

Who has used a Rut Mower on their 5 ton machine? They are only 2 hoses and say you need to run them with the hydraulics set for one way or hammer. We have 6 miles of electric fence around pastures and dad currently walks all of it with a string trimmer.

Does anyone have a 16" bucket that will fit a Case CX50B near Western Iowa?

My thumb is on the main pin of my coupler. It is 14" wide. I use an adapter to couple onto loader backhoe buckets. My 12" bucket is from a 580SL. With the coupler, it is 38" to the teeth, so i can drag my pin thru the top of the trench and get 42" deep with the top slightly wider then 14". This...

Work Brau coupler with massive play.

I have a WB coupler and have never had issues with slop between it and the pins. Mine has a bit of side play to the stick. I put shims in it when it was new to take up the slack. My buckets pins are 1-3/4" on a CX50B Case.

Does anyone have a 16" bucket that will fit a Case CX50B near Western Iowa?

I have a footing job for a garage and they are wanting 16" footings. It's in 3' of fill so digging with a smaller bucket and making them wider isn't a good option. I have a Werk-Brau pin grabber setup for 1-3/4 pins on 9" centers and 6-1/8" wide between the ears.

Looking for a manual quick coupler

I have a 5ton CX50B that came new with a Werk-Brau and had an adapter made to fit Case backhoe buckets. It is set back slightly so buckets curl correctly around the end of the stick. The adpter I had built for Case hoe buckets changes the geometry, but used backhoe buckets are a few hundred...

    30" digging bucket question

You should be able to handle digging with it. Take smaller bites and don't over fill it. I have a 5 ton machine and dig with a 36" bucket. Digging isn't the problem, it's swing it and dumping where it gets tipsy. See if you can find a bucket to demo before you buy one.

    Help Identify This Breaker Please

It looks to be an import that is using an obsolete American brand name and model number. There are a few of them on auction sites, new on the pallet. Good Luck finding parts.

    bobcat breaker

My MB250 lays on my trailer when not in use, which means I have to replace the hat and o-ring every 5 years or so. I took it to Titan to get charged and they said it needed the seal replaced, but they can't get them anymore. I bought a newer MB05 to take it's place. I called Stanley to get a...

Parts for Older Stanley MB250 and 350 breakers

I have a MB250 that is leaking between the top and main body. I took it to my Case dealer to see if it would take a charge, and it wouldn't. They said the urethane top hat is no longer available and suggested I look at a newer hammer. I found an MB05 in my price range. I called Stanley to check...

    bobcat breaker

I just got off the phone with Construction Tool Parts, 800-500-5221. They make the urethane hats and seals for Stanley mb250 and 350 breakers. They also have most of the other wear parts.

Replacing heater in an 1845C and looking for ideas on plumbing

I have an 1845C with a Simms cab and the Zero Start heater box. The compression fittings on the back started to leak, so I pulled it out and found the ferrules were wore into the tubes croaked and it couldn't be saved. I got a replacement and cut the new tubes to accept the 90 deg compression...

Wain Roy vs Werk Brau mechanical quick couplers on mini excavators

My CX55B has a WB pin grabber. I use hydraulic cylinder rod for pins and have adapters to use Case backhoe attachments. The lock pin fits the jaw to release, or i use my pliers handle.

    Looking for some old knowledge

It looks like my Stanley MB250, only bigger. Stanley was a primary manufacturer in the 90ies On mine, with the hoses facing you, the left line is pressure and right line is return. They will raise with the lines reversed, but won't hit. Stanley breakers have 3 nitrogen chambers, the top, the...

    The little hammer that could

There is a huge difference in how concrete comes apart. I remove a lot of 40 year old concrete on farmsteads that has river rock and scrap iron it. I demoed a concrete stoup that had tire chains. and cable in it. Take your time and break towards an opening. Try a reasonable distance back and if...
