Kubota 121 super series travel motor problem.

Thanks for the reply. I did get this fixed. The problem was a little valve that moves up against a spring when high range is selected, the spring should push it back when low is selected. It appears that something caused it to stick. I suspect that since I rarely use high range, a bit of rust...

Kubota 121 super series travel motor problem.

I just discovered that one of my tracks is stuck in high range. Anyone else ever had this problem? I'm thinking it must be a valve stuck open sending more oil to that drive motor. I plan on calling the dealer in the morning, but thought someone might have some helpful info.

    bucket teeth coming off

I want to be sure I understand this joispoi, I'm assuming weld some thin metal to the shank, maybe top & bottom, or both sides. Then a guy might have to do a little grinding, whatever it takes to make a tight fit again. You made mention of driving the teeth on, I think you mean driving the pins...

    bucket teeth coming off

I too am having this problem recently. I talked to a local mechanic about it & he had the same thing to say as stump jumper, that they are designed for digging, not lifting. But I got a problem with that, it may indeed be true, but I have never had this problem before. My current problem is on a...

Help Me Find A Door For My 14E

It was a power shift.let me know when you're coming through the area if you are interested in that blade. By the way, my dad (who I bought the blade from) used to work on the north slope too. I don't know if heran one of these up there, he did tell me about the 16 g's, that's a big blade I'd...

    New guy with a ? on a 450G TC

: My dad had a 550 G. Sold it when he retired. I wish I would have bought it. I thought it was a great little dozer, that one was a direct drive & it really had the pushing power. Good luck :usa

    Replacement Rubber Tracks

Here's a thought, Steel tracks. I bought a 121 new and told the salesman I wanted steel, I think he (and most other people) thinks I'm nuts. The previous mini I had I broke a track myself when it ran up on the edge of a stump I couldn't see, & that was it, it was done. No matter how careful you...

    volvo EC140Blc fast track problem

Wish I had an answer for you, but I can offer this. Maybe it's a blessing in disguise, I tell anyone that runs one of my excavators, that the high speed travel is only for emergencies. In my humble opinion running around @ high speeds only wears out the undercariage quickly. That's not to say...

    Thanks google

Hey all, new to all this, never done any type of forum discussion at all before, but this one looks to be right in my wheel house. I stumbled across this when I was having trouble with a boom pin on one of my excavators, googles it and her you are. I wanted to post a question so I signed up only...

Help Me Find A Door For My 14E

Nice lookin ol blade. I had one that I sold to a guy up the road when the engine started needing more than I wanted to put into it.he bought it, ran some kind of huck pucky through it to slow the oil from migrating to the coolant, & ran it for a while. I saw him working on it at a job the other...

Which brand excavator do you like the most?

Hitachi, even over a Deere. Yeah I know the're basically the same, but the old 10 ,000 hr 120-5 owes me nothing, runs great all the time & never has let me down. The Deere 160 c lc with 5500 hrs has been a problem since day one. It literally was delivered new to my yard leaking hydraulic fluid...

    Kobelco, good or bad?

I don't have a lot of time on kobelco's, lots of time on hitachi & Deere. I rented a kobelco 350 for a sewer main job & was impressed. All seemed as it should, fuel usage wasn't too bad, plenty of snort. The swing speed & power was very impressive. Put your seat belt on, or it'll throw you out...
