    Mine is that way because it has a swing boom. The boom pivot is at the front of the cab not the middle of the machine like most excavators.

    Well pyramid pads would be great. I have to dress and shape 18 miles of levee that we built with an excavator on a barge. My options are find a dozen that will stand up on levee, or bucket dress it all with an amphibious excavator! And let me tell you how boring that will be, much less the cost...

    Yea, I did what I had to do to get by in the beginning... A fine usually runs us about 300-1000 dollars... Not that big of a deal if u get 2-3 fines a year... But boy if you hurt someone and they find you at fault overloaded, insurance company gonna have a hell of a settlement I'm in...

    Jdofemi, that's my thoughts exactly. But I tried convincing him before hand. " I've built hundreds of buckets" was the response I got. I'm in a rush, so I had to take what I could get. Needless today I'm in the market to hire a welder full time!

    Yes, I Agree, there are the 2 plates where the loader would hook up to that he needs to tie into. I think I can explain him more tomorrow, but I will need a pic of my bucket cause he will think he is right til I prove him wrong

    I think this set up isn't going to work... Any opinions? Welder says he measured off my dirt bucket, but I have my doubts... I'm going to measure how far back and how far below the second pin should be from the main pin when the bucket is sitting flat on ground. Unless someone can tell me??
