    Clark C300-50 inching valve question

Terrific job on the cleaning and restoration of the old girl. I recall the 2 # you ref on some old C50 Clarks, but do not recall having or using on the C300's. C300's are merely reproductions of the C model with a changed power steering system, alternator vs gen, and pedal connections. From...

    Clark C300-50 inching valve question

O K, Fluid is going by your U cup. In wrong or you did not clean you honing out well, (in 13 years we never had to hone one). Double springs are right (they default to push back when you release the inching brake, so you get a solid return). The other springs merely position the brass insert...

    Clark C300-50 inching valve question

Most likely the U cup is in backwards. You are applying pressure against it, not using it to pump down.

Help decode Yale GLC040 Model number

I knew Tom Swift and dealt with him at Clarklift of Arkansas before he came out to the full Tom Swift. I bought over phone, and picked up at various other places . Tom was a good man to know, all his dealing with me were on the up and up. It was always just like he described it. Strange, I am 88...

Replacement forks sourcing CAT/JLG TL943 telehandler

Suggestion.... Try these people. Said to be adaptable to the customers problems/situations. From your post, you might need a set of block/brick forks, modified as to mounting brackets and use more than two for capacity. Clark C-500 Y30

If still needed: Google Nash Forklift Supply, Nicholsville, KY. Get their website/address.phones. Contact them with your full model/SN and the mast number (off one of its rails). I recall the tilts vary with the mast heights (degree of tilt). If you can provide valid numbers, they can get you...

    slow fork drop

Pore thing is worn out...107 operating hours in 38 years, must have used it on three shifts, weekends and holidays... I jest... First simplicity: Do the chains lifting the carriage seem to be adjusted equally? Should be shortened enough to clear the forks 1/4" off floor, with mast vertical. If...

    Mitsubishi 5k worehouse forklift

I am recalling being told AW32 was equal consistency with 10W engine oil. That the ATF we used was DEXRON II. Been a long time since I poured any of it, so memory may be off. Suggestion.. What if you put it in full production use (Capacity loads/Fairly long runs) for say 30 minutes. Idea is...

    Mitsubishi 5k worehouse forklift

We always used AW32 in normal Sothern US temps in customers forklifts. Had a few in constant freezer operations and drained and used ATF. Worked in Clark, Yale, Cat, Baker, and some pallet jacks OK. You have cold, could be your present is too stiff...

Yale air pneumatic forklift tires going flat

On some setups, like some Bobcats. Rim is much thinner. and the stem is used on tubeless usually. For many years, the heavy trucks used tubes with the oblong metal piece, all inside. It kept the area surrounding the slot from bulging outward in the slot.

Yale air pneumatic forklift tires going flat

Possible. Nut should come up thru the slot. In pic it appears the rim slot is rather wide. I just wonder how wide it is measured. I would measure it, then go seeking various tubes until I found a fit or one I could "alter" and use with the nut resting within the slot. Another observation. It...

CLARK 2015 PARTS NUMBER HELP LIFT CYLINDER SEAL KIT(approximately mid 1950 model)

What he said. In addition, the seal/wiper in the bolted down head... Look for a number on it before prying out, and if not found remove as carefully as you can to see the other side. It should be an old style metal encased seal with double lips. If ruined, just use two replacement dimension...
