    Mail Order/Better Pricing for CAT Parts?

    Off Road Equipment have saved us a lot of money. Recently bought some parts for an older 973 loader, through the dealer the total would’ve been right at $4,000. Got them from Off Road for around $850. The parts were aftermarket versions but good quality. Definitely recommend them.

    Well, the problem has been solved. Another mechanic found a short in the harness somewhere on the engine. He repaired it and all is back to normal. I didn't get to see exactly where the short was or which wire. A big thank you to Mark250 for the valuable info on the ECM's. Very much appreciated.

    Mobiltech, yes this machine has what you're describing, they call it a voltage controller. It has 4 wires going in and out, and supplies the 24 volts to the pump control.
