Ax Men - Tooth and Stump Extractions

Okay, so I get that there is very little reality in "Reality TV". I understand that the shows are scripted. I know the drama is fake. I am sure that the competition is BS. Still, like a moth that can't resist the pretty blue light that makes that cool zapping sound, I tune in every week to...

Cat 3114 oil filter base reseal

Have a 924f sn. 5NN1317 with 3114 that is leaking between oil filter base and oil cooler. Seal consists of three o-rings. Do I need to dump the coolant? My service manual doesn't answer the question. Thanks, Brian

    Attachment Specifications

I was recently trying to determine if a loader bucket off a Cat 924Gz would pin onto a 924F, and it got me to wondering. Do the equipment manufacturers, or an industry group, publish specifications for attachments that fit their machines? I know truck manufacturers publish information for the...

    Blade mounted laser receiver problems

A few years ago I needed a second machine mounted laser receiver on a job (spreading crushed rock for a big box store pad) so I borrowed my buddy's Apache Bullseye 3+. While we were using it a ribbon cable or ribbon cable connector inside the unit broke. I had it repaired (the dealer sent the...
