    Forks for my Ford 4500?

How handy are you or a buddy with a welder? I only have about $150 into these. Not sure how big a Ford 4500 is, but I used 2x3 3/16" wall tubing with 1/4" flat brackets and it's way stronger than our tractor needs. Takes almost no time to swap out the bucket.

Primed Western Red Cedar Siding. 2,000 lineal feet FS

My apologies for updating such an old ad. This has been sold for months and I just got an email about it. I forgot I even had this ad here.

    '07 Dodge 3500 first look.

Nice truck! I just picked up my first diesel as well. 98 3500 dually with the 12v. New trans and new injection pump. It's got a few things to clean up, but I got it way below book and what things are selling for locally. Only bad thing, I had to tow it back from Long Island, since dmv was...

    Chinese equipment

Not really sure at this point. If I could fix these kinds of problems, I'd be able to pay someone to post for me:D Let's assume we (and by "we" I mean everyone) is able to adjust tariffs and such in a way to completely blast China or any foreign country that's undercutting their economy out...

    Chinese equipment

I noticed an interesting thing. I see some posts complaining the Japan keeps everyone out, while almost in the next breath saying that we need to tax foreign products to point where they aren't viable. Serious question here. Are we really mad that we can't sell in Japan or just jealous that...

Diesel blows cylinder through the roof!

I had a lawnmower engine do something similar. Of course it just may have had the piston set to mid stroke and packed with black powder. Someone may have also lit a fuse poked down through the head as well:D

    best grease?

I run Amsoil in my truck and race quad and see no reason there grease shouldn't be just as good, although I do use Shaeffer's. The Mary Kay comment has me confused as well. There's always a place for varying opinions based on everyone's experience, but that post doesn't help me one bit.

    Cat 420D purchase

Haven't run the Deere, but I love our 420D. Got it with 3,000 hours, has 4,100 now. Had to do a turbo at around 3,600, but we had not been letting it cool down so that was our fault. The swing cylinders are starting to leak now and other than a blown hose, I can't think of any other major...

Feds Demand 29 mpg Pickup Truck

The hidden efficiency that no one sees is in the hp numbers. Your new truck easily has double or possibly triple the hp of the 74, but gets the same mileage. If that's not increased efficiency, I don't know what is. Unfortunately, fuel efficiency hasn't been a popular selling point for very...

Bunch of tools and other stuff for sale

The only thing left from the original list is the concrete tools. Picture below. $20 or make offer. I've added some peg board. 6 sheets at roughly 6'x4'. $20 for all of them. Have some scrap masonite too that's free. Some 1'x2', 2'x3', 2'x4' and smaller strips. Good for shelf dividers...

Primed Western Red Cedar Siding. 2,000 lineal feet FS

We just put some extra Western Red Cedar siding on craigslist. Just over 2,000 lineal feet. Pre-primed and ready to go. Grade A stuff. There's between 1,000 to 1,200 square feet depending on if you do a 6" or 7" reveal and figure some waste. It's on there for $2,000, but I'll do $1,500 for this...

    Ever been cornered?

My dad told me one from probably 30 years ago now, when he worked for my uncle. They had a truck body stick up with a full load of asphalt on it. One of the crew goes in and leans over the frame rails and looks up to see what's wrong. Of course they grabbed him and sadly had to explain why...

    Equipment Demos?

Not at their Pine Bush location anyway. Something happened, but they wouldn't tell me what. I can't imagine it was too pretty, since they were a Case dealer for near 50 years.

    Equipment Demos?

I'll second that. Nice people in there. Only once have we ever rented a machine from them that was beat and it appears to have been phased out of the rental fleet. Guess we just timed it wrong. The next machine we used only had 50 hours on it. They don't have Case anymore though.

    GMC 6500 Brake Help

    GMC 6500 Brake Help

Thanks, I'll try add some more details. I can get pictures later if it will help. 1. It is NOT a vacuum system on there now. 2. Hydro-boost was the name for GM's all hydraulic braking system. It has an electric motor on the booster and also has a line tied in from the power steering...

    GMC 6500 Brake Help

Maybe I'm missing something, what am I supposed to see:beatsme. That site looks like it has parts that I'll have to custom fit. Our house is being sold in probably a week or so and the truck was part of the deal. I just don't have time to do anything more than swap parts, custom fitting...

    GMC 6500 Brake Help

I need some help with the brakes on our truck. It's a 77 GMC 6500 with hydraulic brakes and hydro-boost. Both the master cylinder and booster are shot, but I'm having trouble finding parts. Apparently the hydro-boost stuff wasn't a common option and it looks like the master cylinder is unique...

Bunch of tools and other stuff for sale

http://hudsonvalley.craigslist.org/for/1568666937.html It's all on Craigslist at the link above, but I'll post the relevant stuff here. We are moving, so everything has to go. Anything metal will just go to the scrap yard, so make an offer somewhere between there and asking price and it's...
