Sanderson SB55 "TC"? TC means what exactly?

Hello Wow it certainly is a small world! I'm sorry but I really can't help you there. I've only seen the machine myself a couple of times over the last few years and couldn't resist snapping a few pictures of it as I haven't seen many Sanderson machines before. I do hope that getting...

Sanderson SB55 "TC"? TC means what exactly?

I'm quite surprised this topic is still going, its a welcome surprise though. :) Thank you for your input Pete, I was unaware that the SB55 could be uprated due to the addition of extra counterweights. Would the decals on the machine be changed to reflect this (ie, SB55 changed to SB65)...

Daewoo; tracing a machine history with serial#

Hi all I've heard alot about tracing Caterpillar (especially the older stuff) machinery history by getting the serial number and looking it up in a book or in some database. I've heard some people doing the same thing for JCB too, but never one for a Daewoo machine. The machine in...

Morooka MTS1100 tree spade - brochures?

I live in Bedlington, although Newcastle is where I seem to spend most of my time taking pictures as little happens around here.

Morooka MTS1100 tree spade - brochures?

The early 2200 spec sheet would be most appreciated indeed. This is at least half of the puzzle put together! I just wonder why data is so hard to find on these Morooka crawlers? Is it just because they are older models which I'm interested in, or does Morooka just not release any PDF's...

Morooka MTS1100 tree spade - brochures?

Sounds an interesting vehicle! What size of tree can it cope with? There seems to be almost no end to the equipment you can mount on these crawler vehicles. Quite odd I don't see more of them really.

Morooka MTS1100 tree spade - brochures?

Hi Thanks for the information. I was warned by a couple of companies that details on the older Morooka & Morooka/Komatsu crawlers wasn't easy to get hold of. Looks like that was really an understatement. Even contacted a dealer in Alaska who said more or less the same thing. I think...

Morooka MTS1100 tree spade - brochures?

Hi there. Hope you all are doing well and congratulations! :) I'll have a look around for specs on the Hitachi CG100, maybe I'll get lucky with that one. Thanks for anything you can send :) Last minute edit. I spent some time looking around for pdf's on the CG100 Hitachi machine, no sign of...

Morooka MTS1100 tree spade - brochures?

Tried them also, had a reply by email, got some information but nothing positive as far as specifications go, although from what they did tell me, the measurements of the MST-2200 (a far more popular machine) are pretty much the same.

Morooka MTS1100 tree spade - brochures?

I think they were the second place I tried; got a few nice emails from them but the 2300 machine looks like a very difficult machine to find anything concrete on. Possibly because of Komatsu's involvement?

Morooka MTS1100 tree spade - brochures?

Nope, no reply from them at all. Although I have been emailing other places and received some news - but nothing as far as specs for the MST-2300 and MST-1100. I'm still checking out eBay for such things though - and here was me thinking it would be quite easy to obtain such information on...

    Koehring 666; operating weight?

:eek: Is that not close to out-digging a moderate size dragline as far as depth is concerned? Was this machine based on the 1466? Now wouldn't that be a magnificent sight to see? I was also surprised to find out that Koehring apparently built at least one model of telescopic forklift.

    Koehring 666; operating weight?

Nice to see this thread is still going. :) What ever happened to Koehring in the end? Were they another company that was over-swamped with mass produced machines coming in from the Far East, or....? They seemed to be pretty advanced, and quick to realise the potential of mounting hydraulic...

Morooka MTS1100 tree spade - brochures?

Morooka MTS1100 tree spade - brochures?

Hi Don Sent you an email :) thanks very much for the offer. I guess these crawlers are like swiss army knives, you can put virtually anything on them! Good news if you are an owner; bad news if you are a brochure/literature collector like me!! CLEGG is the manufacturer of the tree spade...

    Old Poclain Excavator

Thanks alot for the information. :) I was honestly surprised to see a Poclain still at work on a regular jobsite, especially these days the older machines just get replaced very quickly by machines which are in turn replaced very soon afterwards! :beatsme I cannot remember ever seeing a...

    Claas Lexion 600 Terra-Trac combine

I can see your point about the expense side of things, crawler vehicles (military or otherwise) are well known for being more labour intensive than wheeled vehicles (for the most part at least). This is why you get the trend of medium-sized military vehicles being wheeled rather than tracked -...

    Mystery Poclain machine

If its a Halla, thats a first for me! I was thinking either early Daewoo, or early Fiat-Hitachi perhaps. The rear engine decking doesn't look like an EX-series and the slab side appearence (which I prefer to all the curved bodywork you see on machines these days) would make it something...

    Mystery Poclain machine

Mystery excavators; one Poclain and another either Daewoo/early Hitachi FH series? Took these from a boat trip today. Its been a long time since I've seen a Poclain machine outside the confines of a scrapyard. This one is probably mounted with a magnet or small grapple. Apologies for the...
