    nice vid - here's a guess, the funny angle of the blade is to keep as much weight back on the front end as possible when running the ripper and to provide a scoop function when pushing out the loose material.

    Gas-fed fire leaves 200 in the dark

    That happened at the end of the street from our shop @ my p/t job. What a mess. The pic on the left shows the machine on fire - there's a house to the right of the machine on the corner of the street - the siding was melted, etc.

    Asv 4810

    I had an MD2810 for a while. It was a great machine- still have a chance to run it now and then. My feeling was that the 4810 had almost too much power if that's possible - whereby it would break traction easier than the 2810. We have an RC100 now. The ASV's are great machines.

    2008/2009 Cummins ISX

    Do you know when the truck is in regen, other than watching the fuel guage drop? On my '08 6.7 ISB, the dpf and external egr has cuased some soot and turbo issues. I removed and cleaned my turbo @ < 5,000 miles because the egr stuffing 600* gasses and soot back into the motor.

    2008/2009 Cummins ISX

    Does anyone have any direct experience with a 2008 or 2009 Cummins ISX, specifically with regard to the new emission controls? We're looking @ a new KW with an ISX and with all the trouble in the ISBs, I'm concerned about the ISX.

    Boots

    Danner - i am very hard on shoes/boots. nothing lasts more than a few months. So far Danner has been the only boot to hold up for me, very comfortable, Marine Corps aproved and issue and AMERICAN MADE!

    WANTED: Tri-Axle Hooklift

    we have a FL70 single axle hook now with a bunch of containers, and a tri-axle Pete roll-off with some boxes. For us, hooklift is the way to go for a few reasons. We're going to sell the Pete roll-off, and need a tri-axle hook. So yes, we'll also be buying some new boxes.

    Steve, I'll take a look tomorrow, but we're doing an underground service line with 1 4" and 2 2" pipes. I believe the cost is about $4k or just over. I'll confirm.
