Dumb question on Case 75xt hydraulic oil

Here are a few items to keep in mind. The chain tanks require 8qts ea. side of 10W30. Check the chain tension. The rule of thumb is 1" of chain deflection. This is very important! Also double check the drive motor bolts. These are famous for backing off. If your chain tank keeps overfilling, the...

    anyone here own a 580k

The "K" models are famous for the wiring harness ends breaking. Go underneath and find where the wiring harness connects to the cab/rops wiring harness. Disconnect the two harnesses and I'm sure you will find the males ends either broken or really corroded. Hopefully this helps some electrical...

    Case & Sumitomo

A little touchy stock? I was paraphrasing the comments to simplify the fine details. (thebaz) correct the actual numbers are 20% CNH Global ownership. No biggie "is like a sister company" is too broad of a comment. Sorry about that. Let me repeat "to broad of a comment."...

    Case & Sumitomo

Maybe I can shed a little light or add more confusion, but here it goes... CASE and Link Belt are now the exact same machine except for one minor detail. Paint. They are both Sumitomo branded machines. The older CASE ie. 9020, 9030 and so on were also the same as 2800's and so on Link Belts...

    Case 580k basket case project!

Just so there is a little less confusion... Do not use HyTrans. Use HyTrans Ultra. HyTrans was discontinued some years ago but there is still some floating out there. If you find TCH thats ok to use also.We used that for years before the HyTrans Ultra invention. Case still manufactures TCH for...

change 2001 js160 from ISO to SAE pattern. how do i do it?

Before the great invention of control patern changers we use to swap the pilot lines around until you got the correct function on each handle. First, make a schematic of how the lines are now. This will help in case you mess it up and have to start from scratch all over again. Second find the...

    Stalling under load

Realisticly for a shop, it is cheaper to just replace this item than charge $100.00 an hour to diagnose a relay. So I always just change this out (part #441777A1) . We found this harness problem by disconnecting each end of the harness and testing each wire individually with the wiring...

    Stalling under load

These CX210's and CX240 are nightmares on this phanton de-rating of the engine and dying out problems. Good call on the small screen in the banjo fitting. We usually just throw that out when they come in. I have seen some welding slag left over in the tank. This was causing blockage of the fuel...

    621b case loader

A common problem with the "B" series is the Trans. Solenoids. To check these properly you need a "breakout box." Now unless your a dealer, you probably will not find a breakout box to use. Remove the trans. valve cover. Its on the right side and it is held on with a single lever. In there you...

    n series

Its true the "N" buckets will not fit the "M" "L" and so on models. The is an adapter kit that will be avaliable for the Hyd. coupler and manual quick coupler. I have seen these in production and you can't tell there is a difference by visually looking at it. There is a reason for this change...

    Case 530ck questions

Here is what I do... Keep the backhoe in the upright locked position. Remove all pressure from all backhoe circuits. Remove the swing cyl hoses so the backhoe can swing back and forth if you were to push it by hand side to side. This will cause a oil to come out of the hoses when moved so be...

    Case 580SK Electrical Problem

I have seen this problem many times in the shop. The fix is this. Install a diode at the excite wire. This will cure the back feed of electricity. If you have the original wiring going to the Alt. It will be the green wire. Hopefully this helps.
