Beginner Problems with JCB 260 wheel SSL--today it is connecting hydraulic hoses

Oh, forgot about the rabbit/snail... Rabbit is obviously 2 speed and pretty straight forward...click the LH top "trigger" button once to activate, again to deactivate. I recommend doing at low RPM as it does take off pretty quick. Snail, or "Creep Speed" as JCB calls it is activated by double...

Beginner Problems with JCB 260 wheel SSL--today it is connecting hydraulic hoses

Don't get a lot of time to get on HEF much anymore, but saw your post and thought I would help with the aux. hydraulic issue....hopefully you are happy with your 260 other than that... next time you have an attachment hooked up to the hydraulics, BEFORE you just pull them off the skid steer...

New Bobcats, No DPF, no DEF and a bobcat diesel engine. Thoughts and experiences?

Don't confuse combustion temperature with coolant or operating temperature. The cooling systems on the machines are designed to handle the heat generated by higher combustion temps. In fact, in some cases, the cooling systems on DPF machines are even larger due to the fact that they have to...

    Decision made-SV300 I4 purchased

Congrats on the new purchase. Is this your first new wheeled SR/SV series? Interested to hear your thoughts 200 hours from now compared to your old 465....

    NonDpf vs Dpf

Yeah, looks like the higher end of the wheeled line up is staying the same....you will be getting a TR310 and TR340 to replace your beloved TR320:D

    NonDpf vs Dpf

Keep in mind when talking temperatures and storage with DEF....the temp recommendations/ratings are based off a day's average temperature. So even if you have a stretch of 100deg. weather, your average temp over 24 hrs is still most likely in the low 80's. And unless you live in the desert...

    JD250 Skid - Conversion to H-Pattern controls

Does anyone know if there is such a kit available to convert a JD 250 skid to H-pattern "Case" controls? I've done some searching online and didn't come up with anything. Kinda surprised if not, as it would seem that it wouldn't be that difficult (Case has kits to install foot pedals, after...

    Daves latest thread!!

This is true....on the early small platform machines, there was a steel hydraulic line that would vibrate against the underside of the cab and cause a hellacious drone....have the dealer check it out, they should be able to solve the issue simply by putting a little more "bend" in the line. No...

    Daves latest thread!!

A JCB Skid may be or not be a lot of things....but the one arm is definitely not a gimmick....As mentioned above, roll-out of new product can sometimes be premature, and have its glitches. JCB is not immune to this, nor is Case (Alpha), BC (Telehandlers), Deere (take your pick)....etc. I will...

    Volvo Demo

Instead of a bunch of quotes, I'll just try and remember a few of the finer points: - I'm surprised at the number of people who are unfamiliar with a F/T in a skid/ctl.....guess Bobcat had a bigger chunk of the pie that I thought!! - F/T is a low cost option on any JCB (and I would...

    daves thread

    1. All new T4 JCB Skids have adjustable sensitivity for the drive controls as standard equipment. I would like to see additional adjustment for the loader/bucket as well, but not sure if that's on the radar yet. 2. Agreed that the joysticks should be mounted to the seat frame/suspension so...

    daves thread

Definitely some good ideas on this thread....I really enjoy hearing how you guys (the end users) feel about certain features/ergonomics of different machines.....a few that I feel the JCB could certainly benefit: Adjustable control pods that move with the seat suspension/travel (like the...

    JCB 190 Robot

I'm assuming the machine is pilot controls? I'm no tech, but I may be able to get you some basic info about the system? Can you be more specific about the issue? Did it fail while operating or just overnight type thing? Track drive still functions properly? Both bucket curl and loader raise...

    daves thread

All JCB skids and CTLs will be Tier 4 FINAL compliant once the new small platform T4 machines roll out. In my opinion (this is not verified by JCB), I think they probably could have kept their old HP ratings and been T4 Interim compliant with the current configuration (large platform Ecomax)...

Dave, Stay tuned for Tier 4 small platform JCB's.....coming sometime end of Q4/Early Q1 2014. Adjustable EH and more horsepower. I concur with you that 60 HP on the 190/205 is just a little short.
