    Takeuchi tb 145 hydralic problems

These may be helpful, its from the workshop manual.

Then I would try checking the poppets and seats in the control valve, like you said yes…

    Takeuchi tb 145 hydralic problems

I would still try to measure pressure at the cylinder. Adjusting the port relief gave no results because it may be broken. I believe you can try to swap the port reliefs from some other function that works well and compare results. But I have never done this. If you would do this you probably...

Has this problem always been present or have you recently noticed it?

    Takeuchi tb 145 hydralic problems

Can you measure the pressure at the cylinder? Might be port relief valve failing or in need of adjustment.

Volvo EC210BLC 2002 one track slow

Dude I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. In the first reply I said that the pump might be the problem, but I damn well explained where I was coming from. Even @funwithfuel gave me an upvote on it. Switching the pump output would guide someone in the right direction with zero money and minimal...

Volvo EC210BLC 2002 one track slow

I am not disagreeing with @funwithfuel ! Getting an undercarriage checked out is basically a daily check. THAT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT SOMETHING SOMEONE SHOULD DO BEFORE EVEN MAKING ANY KIND OF QUESTION ABOUT HEAVY EQUIPMENT. And for your two cents worth of opinion: The poster of this thread stated...

Volvo EC210BLC 2002 one track slow

I agree with you to start isolating this problem at undercarriage. The upper you go the things get more complicated. To me it just seems this is a hydraulic problem nit mechanical. Activating the digging function making an excavator tracking straight I would personally start examining at the...

CAT 320C squeak noise at boom

Good point. I had a squeaky boom coming from the pin when I bought an used excavator and couldn’t rotate the pin even slightly. I just greased that pin three times more regularly and the squeak was gone in about a week or two.

CAT 320C squeak noise at boom

You’ll need some good leverage. If it squeaks theres an area that hasn’t gotten grease and “fused” to the bushing.

CAT 320C squeak noise at boom

Probably boom cylinder pin. Try to set the hoe attachment on the ground so the pin isn’t strained and rotate it around so the grease gets evenly distributed.

    Swing Dynamic Braking PC170lc-10

I would also try to check the case drain with cold oil and then with hot and compare the results. Your current test may be up to spec but deviation in cold vs hot oil would be an indication that there is oil escaping through the rotary group of slew hydraulic motor. Tolerance between the bores...

Volvo EC210BLC 2002 one track slow

I would say you have a pump issue. I am not completely sure of how hydraulics work on an excavator but here is my understanding: The pump that runs your left track is wearing out. The one that runs your right is still in good condition. This causes common weak track problems-excavator not...

Volvo ec220DL creeping track motors and free swinging slew

My guess is it’s not a free swing switch since the upper structure of the excavator does stop which would mean that the swing brake applies, meaning the switch is not engaged. I would say some wear in the rotary group of the swing hydraulic motor since the oil doesn’t stay under pressure leaving...

Cat 350L Grinding noise on swinging

Has this problem been always present or recent? I don’t have a CAT but this is a page from operators manual of my 15ton excavator. I don’t know if this applies to heavier machines, but maybe it’s just the reduction unit of the slew motor, turning of the gears and friction? Or is it like a really...

Chasing hydraulic performance gains in a vintage machine

I am no expert but I fixed lots of issues on my excavator. To me it seems that the pumps would be the problem since you notice weak performance on all functions. The pressure may be up to spec but pump could still be leaking internally. To examine the pumps performance the right approach would...

    Volvo erc58 'Swing / slew' issue ?

So the problem was that the reduction unit of the slew/swing motor broke down? Or why was it necessary to replace the whole motor?

    TB 1140 Slew Problems

So I finally got my slew motor to a perfect working condition. Seems like the disk springs pushing to the cylinder block lost some tension and the spline on the shaft was a little worn probably causing some offset. Changed those and after that there was still some drift in both ways and case...

Yanmar vio35-2 weak swing and drifts right

If it drifts only to one side it might be the relief valves. Can you measure the pressure of the reliefs? I do believe there should be ports on the brake valve for it, and later compare the results to the factory setting. Also is the power of slewing/ swinging the same in both directions, or is...

    TB 1140 Slew Problems

Hello! So after about 100 hours the slew/swing hydraulic motor is starting to drift again. Also much lower power. When checking the leakage to the right is gushing out with oil, when checking left the leakage is smaller but still not up to spec. I don’t have the motor apart yet, but my...
