    Robert’s Tractor Used Heavy Equipment

Yes Nigel I also noticed that. Aren’t Kobelo’s yellow in North America? And your right there is only a small barn and few tractors there. Sad thing is they probably make more money than a real tractor dealer. Another tip is all the equipment has been photographed at different locations.

Their website is rbstractor.com. Has anyone heard or purchased from these guys. The prices look too low to be true.

John Deere 310D Backhoe want go in forward or reverse

MarkNC, Don’t see any mention of it here. There are 2 clutch cutout switches. One on the 4 speed shifter and one on the loader control lever. Also the FNR lever on the right of you steering column acts as a clutch cutout switch when in Neutral position. All 3 switches have to be simultaneously...

When Looking at a Used Machine...How Many Hours are Too Many

I have a 1992 Deere 310D that turned 10,000 hrs a couple months ago. It works perfectly and doesn’t burn any oil. I thought that was a lot of hours for it’s machine. While reading on this forum last year I came across an owner of same machine in South America with 26,000 hrs and used it daily...

I am following this with great interest as I have a same machine. I am also confused. Can I try to clarify? thepumpguysc, look on page 20, in the photo of 138.4 KB, there is a brass elbow with fitting removed. (Is circled in red). Is that the elbow you want filled with fuel?

    Early JD 310C brakes dragging

RGM161, I have a 310D. I went through the same brake lockup situation you have. My master cylinder looks just like the ones in the photos above. The two pins LarryH has in the photos also look the same. It’s been a while but I’m quite sure those pins get damaged by installing them with the brake...

Aluminum shards in engine oil pan. JD 310D

I’m really interested in your problem and diagnosis as I also have a 310D. Are your the guy with over 20,000 hours on your machine? And I wish to say you seem to have connected with several very knowledgeable guys and I wish you the best of luck with this issue.

    Hyster H50XM transmission slippage

It's a 1994 model. Forklift just came back from the forklift mechanic but he is a Nissan guy, not use to working on Hysters. After new transmission oil and filter it now slips when trying to drive up a ramp when machine is cold but no longer slips when warmed up. Did not do that before fluid...

Reinstallation order for torque converter in Deere 310D?

Although I own a 310D I have not yet needed to remove any of these parts. But I would think one can remove the reverser to repair it and reinstall it without removing the torque converter. So I think the torque converter and then the bell housing should be installed first. If it was a truck, the...

    Deere 310D worn out yoke?

Billrog, That shaft is attached to the front differential and spins all the time. In 4x4 or not.

    Deere 310D worn out yoke?

tool king, The input shaft shows absolutely no sign of wear but you can feel just a little in the inside of the yoke when you slide a small screwdriver inside. There is a tinny step at the end of the input shaft travel. But the wear seems so small i'm afraid to be disappointed in the improvement...

    Deere 310D worn out yoke?

My Deere has almost 10,000 hours. The yoke at the rear end of the driveshaft for the front wheels seems to have worn down inner splines. The slack causes the shaft to whip and therefore causes a driveline vibration on the road. My question to you all is will the new Deere yoke be much better or...

    John Deere 410C question

Oh that's a rotator so that you can keep your teeth at any angle you want like shaping the bottom or side of a trench. Neat. Just bring the cylinder to a hydraulic shop where they will be able to match up all the seals.

How do you deal with difficult customers?

Wow, 23,820. That's interesting and amazing. I don't know of any backhoe with that may hour around this area. How many hours did it have when you bought it? Do you know if the motor or any other major component has been rebuilt?

How do you deal with difficult customers?

Finca, Does your 310D actually have 24,000 hrs? Mine is approaching 10,000 and I'm wandering how long it can last.

Looking to buy JD 410B backhoe what do ya think?

I have a 310D that is 2 series newer than the B but still considered old. Most parts are still available but some like hydraulic controls valves are already not available from Deere. But all seals and o-rings can be purchased from hydraulic shops. For me owning an old backhoe is like owning an...

    JD 410 problems

I did own one of those 410 years back. Can't tell you about the dip stick length but maybe help with the clutch. The clutch pedal controls the a dry clutch disk just like a truck but there is suppose to be a delay because although the transmission is attached to the engine crankshaft when the...
