    315's aren't much wider than a 12,so with off set rims you should be ok. my previous truck had 315 steers

    Would those have been the Emerik (sp?) trucks? no, was an old,old mack nti had for a while, hauled for rawson, parked it by the sort yard- emerick trucks hauled out of smay creek

    You are correct, but they were actually called "Seattle stakes" since Pacific Car and Foundry (later Carco) was headquartered in Seattle. Actually, Renton just South of Seattle. I have heard them called Seattle stakes, just remember my dad telling me "carco" when I was a young lad ...

    a friend had a '70 diamond reo log truck that cab was tight,no rattles when i rode in it early '80s- i always liked the looks of early 70s western stars even though dad had a kenworth !
