    No , I replaced the parts with oem Mack parts and it is aligned perfect. On a side note I did fix some brake problems I didn't know I had by using Mack oem parts.

    There are a few theory's. mine is any weld on a frame is a wound to the strength. So weld the two sections together with all the right techniques and add a section of frame with bolts to build on the weakness of the welded frame. All in all it should be stronger then new. But not really.
